Funny true story:
Last summer we were visiting relatives in LA, and were staying at a hotel downtown. They had closed off two of the surrounding streets because they were filming part of this movie there. Basically looked like a SWAT team busting up a robbery, so there was plenty of machine-gun fire and explosions (thankfully not at night, though).
We had a great view of it all from a common balcony. Wil Smith showed up briefly, but was gone before anyone noticed him, really.
