Lawl, just wanted to be one of the few people who has posted a recipe on gameamp ( have any? ) anyways...
The Ingredients :
Cheddar Cheese
Crumbled up bacon( the type thats been cooked and is already packaged is perfect. Can be baught at most grocery stores )
Tostitos© Brand chips. The regular kind is great :D
A medium-large sized plate :p
Instructions :
1. Get the plate out in front of you ( duh :P )
2. Spread out a decent amount of chips out on plate.
3. Sprinkle bacon on the chips
4. Put cheese on chips. ( grate first of course )
Then, add as many layers of this as you want. I usually have two.
5. (this is for 2 layers) Put the chips in a microwave, and microwave for 35-45 seconds.
6. Enjoy!
The reason I do my nachos in layers is for one basic reason.. I LIKE YUMMY-NESS ON ALL MY CHIPS ><
Warning : The more layers you have, keep it in the microwave longer!

I've tried this at home several times (my father learned me.. not you), and I have noticed one thing... Its better to take very large-gigantic plates :P At least if you are 3+. Of course, thats depends on how many layers you have (I usually take like 10 layers =D)
Another thing i have to fix when i notice it tomorrow...

Or better yet
place the same same ingerdiants on aluminum foil on a metal bake pan
Bake at 3:75 for a few minutes (until cheese melts)
While baking nuke 1 can of chili in the microwave for about 2-2.5 min
When cheese melted remove nachoes from oven add chili and you have got some kick-A#@ bacon chillie cheese nachoes.
The true test of any technology is its ability to obtain porn.

we always made ours out of corn shells
1. cut up 12 corn shells into 4ths
2. fry shells
3. heat oven to 325
4. open can of refried beans
5. 1 lb. ground beef, browned add taco seasoning
6. lay corn shells onto baking sheet, add refried beans, meat and cheese.
cook until the cheese melts and enjoy

I sometimes substitute the Tostitos for Doritos Nacho Cheese chips, they work wonderfully as well :)
I also use the already shredded cheese, and oh my gosh! the bacon would be a wonderful add on :)
Note: this way is for people that may not want to shred their own cheese and want a little extra flavor from the Doritos

Here is one of my favorites. I forget where I found this originally, but I have fine tuned it a bit for my taste.
Snack Attack Cheesy BBQ Popcorn
3 tablespoons margarine
˝ teaspoon chili powder
˝ teaspoon garlic salt
Ľ teaspoon onion powder
8 cups popped popcorn
˝ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Melt margarine and add seasonings. Pour over popcorn, then sprinkle with cheese and mix thoroughly.
Well I wish I had a nickel, For every time I fell and blamed somebody else
I'd give a ton of money to the ones I’ve hurt, And I’d still be sittin' pretty well
I've spent years losin' touch of what's right and what's real Caught up in these missions of my own
And you're tellin' me you think I’ve done so damn well While we're sittin' here a thousand miles from home
There's a hole in your wisdom, a hole in your sky
Two holes in your head where the light's supposed to get by

Margarine is too watery, and overall, tastes worse than butter

For you salsa fans, one of my fiance's favorites....
Sweet n' Sour Salsa
2 cups diced pineapple
Ľ cup golden raisins
˝ small red onion, finely diced
2 tablespoon minced red pepper
1 tablespoon minced fresh cilantro
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice (fresh, if possible)
Combine all ingredients.
Well I wish I had a nickel, For every time I fell and blamed somebody else

True to a certain extent. But it is also less fattening then butter. So I guess marg if you watch your weight and butter if you like to indulge. LOL!!
Gonna try yours tomorrow. But since you brought up better tasting, freshly cooked bacon beats pre cooked any day.
BTW, +cred for starting a good topic.
