i am going to try thr 10 day free trial of wow anyone have any tips for me?

No tips needed really.
Just experiment with all the classes.

i wasnt fond of the trial. couldnt trade with anyone and its barely enough time to get oriented with the game.

Best idea is to go to WoWAmp (there is a link in csewlla's post).
All you will really get from GWAmp are comments like this:

If you want my opinion, make a warlock - preferably a Horde one (since Horde just pwn generally, sorry Dru :p).
I will keep this thread open, but if it descends in to another WoW bash thread it will be locked.

Good Luck, just play around with classes'races etc.
p.s. Guildwars players, don't bash him just because he plans on trying wow. Everyone has their own opinion of it.

Tried Wow, Too cartoony for me. PvE was very depth. Lots to do but i was more interested in the PvP. Gw PvP is a lot better.

i knew this would happen but guys stop saying all this crap... i wouldnt buy i dont like the 15$ a month no effense to anyone ... and dont even see why people would flame like this its just a game :/

i'd say try a proffesion in WoW that is similar to your favourite proffesion in GW...
So if u like ele's, make a mage...and so on. I personally made a mage and i would have prolly enjoyed WoW more had the game been based soley on setting things on fire ;)
Also, once you find out how, set it so you cannot be attacked...a lvl 1 billion tauran came into the starter village and owned me 2wice, not fun.
Also, make a butt ugly char, i made 1 that could pass for good looking and was followed around by sum1 asking me for a date for 2 hours.
i can't think of anything else atm, just enjoy yourself, and don't forget GW, the time you have spent on it and the friends you have made there :D

Maybe AMP admins on the GW side of AMP need to start locking or deleting WoW threads because all they do is cause trouble, flaming and all kinds of ridiculous comments, and then huge disagreements later down the line?
