Hello,
Is it correct that you can only upgrade your armor to an +3 attribute bonus? I have +4 speedcasting on my armor (with runes and stuff) but I only get the +3 bonus. My warrior has the same with +4 strength, but he also gets +3.

yes afcourse,
You have to have a +3 rune equipt on your armor
And on your headgear there's an +1 stacking :)
so... 3+1=4
xD

I think he means that he has a superior rune (+3) and a minor(+1) and still only gets 3,
You have to look at the deion, stacking or non-stacking.
you can only have one non-stacking rune (wich is on the headgear when u buy it) and the rest of the runes can be changed when you want it.
BUT you can only have one rune of the same attribute at the time, So +# and +1 Fast Casting won't stack the highest counts in that case and the +1 rune is just wasting a spot. ;)

This really helped. Silly enough I thought the stacking was for each piece of armor, but as I now understand, it is for the complete armor.

It works just as Hardstike said. Here's some advice though, don't use superior runes except vigor(or in some special cases). The slight increase in damage is not worth the 75 health loss compared to a minor rune.

That goes double for PvP.
The only time you will really need one in PvP is in some spike build, rest of the time minors are the way to go.

There is also the possiblity of getting a master of my domain mod that will boost an attribute 20% of the time.
so say you wanted +16 axe mastery you cave the headgear 3+1 and a mod on your axe that gives you +1 axe mastery 20% chance
approx 1/5 of your axe skills will have the effect of +17 axe mastery. unless every hit you make involves an axe skill its not going to make a noticeable difference.

Superior runes are good for minion masters, and i run it on my AB fire ele,
have a superior fire magic rune, but full survivor insignias, superior vigor and a +45 health while enchanted weapon mod.
so no problem with health in that case ;)

Yeah Minion Masters are one of the few exceptions to the no sup rune rule. TBH AB doesn't really count as PvP, most of the people there don't really have a clue so you can get away with using a sup rune there.
