I got back from Taiwan like, 2 days ago and I have MAJOR jetlag. Since I gotta go back to school in a week or so, I'd like to know a few tips on dealing with this traveling curse. Plus waking up at 2 PM just to find cheerios isnt that amusing anymore.

The longest flight I've ever been on was from Louisville to Salt Lake City and back. But, I never really got jet lag. I just looked it up and appearently it's from the change in time zones that's the cause. I've been in 3 different time zones in one week (Eastern, Mountain and Pacific.)
The thing that helps me the most (when it comes to adjusting to time differences) is just relaxation. The site I just looked at suggested to envelope yourself in dark. Which just sounds odd. Were you in Taiwan for a week or more or just a few days? Cause, from experience, it takes about a week to get accustomed to a new time zone and about the same amount of time to get back used to your original time.
Yeah, I'd just suggest to try to relax. If that seems to not be working, than maybe pull at least a 24 hr. shift, so that your body does become tired and wants sleep and you could get back on track of your natural time. Or try a John McClaine and curl your toes on a soft carpet. :)
Hopefully that was somewhat helpful.

Well, best way that i know off is the post above, relax, considering you dont have to catch any train, go anywhere, work, just relax.
Try to stay awake during the day, its hard, but try to stay up, and then go sleep early when its evening, go like that for a few days and your body clock should adapt to the *new* situation.
Was it good in Taiwan?

As I am Taiwanese, live in America, and go thre often, i know how you feel. :P
As Forumite and Smooth Op said, plenty of rest helps, however try to go to sleep and wake up at the same time every day so you're "biological alarm clock(or w/e it is)" is "set".
Don't play too much video games either, they can exhaust you even more. Stay home often and soon you will be refreshed and ready for school.
Hope this helped!
P.S. What part of Taiwan did you visit?

Funny moments with some friends ^^

thanks for the replies, I'll try em. And I visited Taipei and the surrounding areas.
'Sort of' is such a harmless thing to say. Sort of. It's just a filler. Sort of - it doesn't really mean anything. But after certain things, sort of means everything. Like after 'I love you' or 'You're going to live' or 'It's a boy.'
