I was just thinking what everyone thinks about what anet did to gw. Like the nerfs and things. Post something if you think they should keep doing what they are and if you dont like what they are doing post why. PLZ no one start flaming someone else for what they say... even if its negative. Example for me i like and dis like some things. I like the stuff they did for pets to make them like heroes with the extra pop up that showed health to make them attack or not and so on. And i dis like what they did long ago with less good drops with trolls outside droks

in all seriousness, i don't like the whole SoR nerf either. 8 seconds is ridiculous. with 2 seconds it was fine for over 2 years lol, why change it all of a sudden...stupidest crap

99% of changes I never pay any attention. I figure there is nothing I can do about it except adjust to it.
But....
The quoted change above really had me baffled.

lol, true that rogue. Every balanced gvg build has a para because they're so defensive but their pressure with a spear is just intense

Hmmm a-net where to start.
On a whole i think they're doing an okay job but theres one update i'd like to see
Talking ship while running a wiki build will be a Permaban
that'd make me very happy
The pet corpse thing was a bit random though it seems, i wasnt the most in touch with HA for awhile but i dont remember hearing of anything from there that abused pet corpses. Could be wrong about this though
All in all though there isnt really anything too imbalanced that it warrants a nerf so except for the random ass bouts of horribad lag and the epic failure of the wintersday hats this year. Good job a-net

I don't think you'll be complaning much longer.
Probably 6 months after GW2 comes out they won't even bother with GW1 anymore eventhough they say they'll keep updating it. Anet is all about money and GW2 will the their new source of money. Take Blizzard for example when WoW came out they don't give a crap about Diablo II LoD anymore. One new patch release every 2 or 3 years. Bots, dupes, hacks are everywhere last time I play it.

Stance tank, Echo Nuker, 55 Monk, MM. Mundane builds that don't involve inventive play, but lend themselves to botting. IMO there hasn't really been a nerf on any skill, because a buff has always been applied to another skill within the prof to make it usable. builds might have taken a hit but professions > builds

Well the major thing I think they didn't do good was Normal and Hard mode. I hate the farming now. I did a GoK farm in HM with my 55hp and after a 15-20 mins run I got a massive 800g of loot and 0 golds. And I also don't have EotN, so I can only use the old farming spots, wich.. all have been nerfed in my opinion.
I still wish to farm an IDS, but with a W/Me it doesn't work anymore. Tried it with my Dervish, but it's a pain in the ass to get there and I usualy die (idk why, it's probably me). Last chance is gonna be a terra tank and if that doesn't work I give up ='(

1: Balance skills more often, a few problem skills at a time.
2: Feel free to change some of the skills that are far too narrow to be used effectively.
3: Important one here: STICK TO WHAT THEY PROMISE. If they say they are doing something, they should do it. This also means they shouldve focused more on pvp which was the 1 thing that seperated GW from the rest.
4: Reset inactive guild's rating as well as rank.

It's funny how when peple complain about some of the changes Anet has made it always involves nerfing things that make "soloing" more difficult. Well duuuuuh!!!! Anet never intended for people to be able to "solo" things. This game was designed to be a "group effort"
Now, don't take this as I am "anti-soloing". I'm not, and I could care less about it. I just find it funny that Anet makes these changes to make soloing more difficult, and people bitch about it as if Anet is ruining the game. When in reality they are trying to keep it as was intended, a group game.

You know, compared to how many farming builds there still are, A-net have hardly nerfed farming builds at all. They might have introduced Loot Scaling, but since the economy deflated with it as well, it didn't change anything at all. A platinum now is "worth" more than 1 year ago...

I agree with you. There are still plenty of farming builds. With as many skills as there are in the game it would all but be impossible to completely nerf it. Unless of course they somehow made it that you can't go into an area without X amount of people in your group. But they have tried, and in a sense every time they try it does succeed a little, even if only for a short time.
