HAHAHA, that has to be the funniest line of BS I've ever heard on GW. I'm not flaming you cause you asked, I'm just laughing that someone came up with that.
If they wanted to sell gold I am sure they cold just generate it at will to sell. Not to mention if you get caught buying ebay gold (or anywhere else) they will ban you. It wouldnt make much sense for them to sell you something so they could ban you.
I think I am going to go start a rumor in game and see how long it takes to show up here. That would be kinda fun, and funny, to do. LOL

dude hes got a point tho, i mean this would be a great way for anet to keep getting money. maybe its a conspiricy maybe thats why they dont want anyone else to sell, and maybe thats why they never lower prices... lol

If anet doesn't get the money, then where does it go?
The hench do get the gold, then they must not spend any of it because Little Thom has had the same axe, shield, and armor since I first met him at Yak's Bend.

of course it true! i think the hench also get a percentage of the money they pick up, labour costs etc.
i think they also have to pay rent to be on anets servers, like the cost you pay to live somewhere. So by picking up loot and delivering it in the big henchie van once a week to the areanet offices, anet gets their rent money, and the hench get to stay on the servers. it benefits everyone.
koss is no fool by any means, him and dunkro lead the operation, dunkro is the brains and koss is the brawn.
they even wrote a book about it... see!
