Hello and Happy New Year to all.
I had an idea these days, and I'm almost absolutely sure it will not go through, but anyways you can share your thoughts.
Now with the upcoming Guild Wars 2, I thought to myself "Why don't they un-nerf farming? Just until GW2 comes out.
Let us have our fun until then. Let us farm whatever we want to farm. Remove the scattering of foes when hit by AoE skills.
I think that we will not be able to transfer our money and items from GW to GW2, right? So why not just let us have it all the way we like it to be. We will lose it anyway.
What do you guys think?

It would be a fun idea, however.....
Just because GW2 is coming out doesn't mean that GW1 will die. Many people will stay or play both. So you can't go and ruin 1 game just because another is coming out.

It just sounds to me that you want some expensive gear you cant afford so you want the easiest way to get it. Correct me if im wrong.

Money, probably not.
But, items (or at leeast armor) we can. So if they should "un-nerf" things those who do farm will probably have all 5 sets of armor and the weapon sets filled in no time.
Beside, like you can't farm now?!
One click to PvX Wiki and another small click and I'm looking at 119 possible way's to farm.
I've farmed a total of 10 runs (and not even high-end) and I managed to have enough money for things.

Ah, well, if we CAN transfer stuff to GW2, then please delete the topic.
All my point was that if we cannot do that, then let's just have some fun for a while. Not forever.

Haha just as said in the other post, I don't think I'm gonna be playing GW 2 right away. I spent a lot of money on GW 1 and put a lot of time in it. That's why I actualy don't like a GW 2. It will ruin my gameplay because nobody is going to be online anymore.
My only wish for christmas is that GW 2 was just a dream =\

I know what you mean Blazings, I just started playing GW a little over a year ago and by the time GW2 comes out, i'm not going to have accomplished all of the things I want accomplished in GW1.
To the O.P.~
it would be neat, however, haveing un-nerfed farming for that long seems kinda unnecesary(ugh, dunno how to spell it). 'Twas a good idea tho :)
