ps. I don't think so, but I dó think the events could also be something else than PvP sometimes.

i thought it was usually always 1 pve weekend 1 pvp weekend...now 2 pvp in a row, maybe because of the xmas event but perhaps also because anet really is looking forward to nerfing popular skills like they ALWAYS do.
if they are going to nerf very used skills i do hope they buff crappy skills so that people are not gonna start whining everywhere again..

they will probably nerv steady stance or wild/drunken blow(i though that they where called that way) because SS teams are pretty regular 'IWAY' like builds these days. further i think the rest wil be ok

Neither wild/drunken blow or SS is the problem. I do expect a Fear Me! nerf though. Probably something similar to what WYSelf and GFTEyes got.

double dye O.o imagine how much youd get from raptor farming, i normally amount 30+ of most dye colors in a week of raptor farming(an hour or so a day) sadly only a few blacks/whites

Except typically the PvPers welcome needed nerfs while PvErs cry about them. Soul Reaping is probably the best example.

Thats because most skills are updated to balance pvp, yet it still effects pve, i dont think they have ever made a nerf because people were pwning UW to hard.

One quest will not stop them balancing skills. Quests have no relevance to the problems being caused by the majority of skills that get nerfed. If the quest actually becomes impossible because of the nerf of those skills (which i sincerely doubt), then they will just make it easier to kill.

Well this is new pre-upadte whining. You haven't nerfed anything yet but just in case "you suck a-net how could you nerf that."
I like nerfs for the most part. It makes the game more challenging becuase now you have to come up with new builds and strategies. Imagine if they nerfed A cou[le key GvG skill or HA skill. I causes a whole shift in the metagame meaning you now have to try something new.
For example what if they decided to nerf all the blockway core skills raising energy cost and decreasing durations, increased recharge on Woh, or made crip shot useless. That would have a huge effect accross both GvG (maybe not high-end as much) and HA.
As annoying as nerfs can be that add alot to the game on both PvE and PvP sides. Having to rethink your farming builds adds a little excitment to the game (or to wiki if you are not to creative). Sure they hurt a bit but in the long run I think they broaden the experience of the game.

i dont get why its pvp one week and pve the next, why cant they just do pve and pvp in the same week every week, instead of the pvp and pve players waiting a week, and is it me or does anet need to come up with better weekend events, cuz all ive seen so far are the same event being repeated

SR nerf that affected me and my style of play was over half a year ago and at the time I didn't post. Unless I can play necro as a necro (not in some dumb spike build) I will complain. Ps I play necro as a necro and yes I am a pve noob. I have complained but Its over now I bottled it up for 4 months then over reacted got it out of my system and changed my build and went back to pve and ab.
