So I saw that in this game the Captain class can equip a horn or lute, how is it used in game and what advantages does it give the player or Fellowship? Heck and I gotta admit I just hated seeing this forum without any posts.

In that respect, horns are used for playing in-game music, which I believe other classes can use the horn for.
Though also the Captain can summon Fellowship members using a 'Summoning Horn', making use the person to be summoned has spare traveling rations.
You can have some good fun by summoning people into awkward situations, or so I hear. =)
Do you have LotRO? It's good to see other staff taking an interest in in this forum. =)

Suffice to say I try and visit the other GameAmp sites when I can that deserve some attention like the D&D Online site, Vanguard, Dungeon Runners, and Spellborn site as I at least have a cursory knowledge of and hope to inspire some conversation. Upon further study I found that many classes have access to instruments and as has been mentioned here before the minstrel class it the healing class. I still love EQ2 best but this game really has some well deserved accolades coming it's way and has some features that some of the other GameAmp sections do not have so it is easy to find an excuse to pop in. :)
Oh and best of all a bit of new blood at the helm that is not also trying to support other aspects of GameAmp. Anyhow a little cross pollination is always good for GameAmp.
