Thats great news. Though I obtained mine the way it should have been obtained... its still nice to see they are doing this for those that would like to get and and was not able too, or joined the game late.

Cool. Although it doesn't make much sense to have something that is "bonus", "exclusive", or "extra" be attainable for people who didn't do things the way they were suppose to be done :P. But that doesn't really matter....now everyone can enjoy the BMP! ^_^

I already got it, and for those who don't, I recommend it, it was great fun and the rewards looked nice aswell.
The missons are kind of short although, but it was definitivly worth it.

No, it's a great idea, I read the title of the thread and screamed NO WTF MAN. Now it's gonna be like a warrior running around with a friggen longsword, ugh.
It's like how they made EoTN for level 10's when they orginally made it a huge deal it was level 20 only. I'm starting to fu**ing hate anet, I truly am.

From what i've read, your making more rash decisions about things, flame me all you want, i got people to back me up that know it themselves all too well.
Bashing Anet just because All the kiddies with no Creditcards who's mummy said NO can buy it now, doesn't mean it will.
Anet hasn't exactly made a huge ad about it, only a few people that i speak to daily know it, and thats generally still around 50 people daily, plus strangers you pick up from PUGS, random sitting around pretending your busy with testing new dye mixes, etc.
But its fine by me if you want to throw them away because they lost their uniqueness, there is simply no uniqueness in Guild Wars, nor in any online RPG to have for your own, own-self.
Wont happen, shall not happen, will never happen, until perhaps in the future games like this start becoming more like, for example, Oblivion like.
Make your own characters face, design your own sword with say a pre-set option base, but with different base designs and hundreds of tiny mods, from the grip to the fine edges to even the beautifull inscribed elven words.
But for now, that wont happen yet, so we can all be angry, and pissed. But why, if you want to be unique in this game, then become unique, become the greatest PvP'er, build a huge alliance infrastructure, hack the planet. I dont know, but if your aiming for a unique weapon, it just wont happen.
Same for armors, in the beginning, all people from Factions came back to Prophecies acting like:
Woahhh duwde, look at my armor, you'll never get it!, give the rest 4 weeks, and the guys that where the first are resorting to making odd mixes with Prophecies and Factions armor just to attempt another unique look.
What you ask, is with the current game, impossible.
What you Desire, will not come in this Guild Wars,
What your decision is, that's up to you entirely, but throwing things away just because your guildie can now also get them, isn't worth it, the ''im better then you'' childishness can go too far at one point, behaviour like this is a sign to that.

Anyways anet kinda led me to believe I had to buy gwen to get a mysterious bonus that turned out to be something I wasn't expecting. I would have got gwen anyway and if it hadnt been free at the time I would have got this bmp now. If they want to get more money out of me they probably will.

People all had opinions about it but those who are sounding off about how it shouldn't be on sale for 10 dollars... You didn't actually pay for it! for all of you who will buy it for 10 dollars, I think dolar for dolar gwen is better value for money imho. Infact I think nf is better value than gwen but thats just me. I have the feeling that gw2 will blow the whole lot out of the water.

anet misslead me only reason i brought eotn online was for added bonus mission pack otherwise would have brought eotn from local shop now they go back on there word and its not cool i got no boxed eotn and i wont have no boxed mission pack this complete bs wont buy nothing else from online store from now on of the shelf or nothing for me

WHY are people complaining? YOU guys bought OTHER stuff and got it for free with it. Whereas we shell out 9EUR and get NOTHING else.

I think its a great idea, everything anet has done.
I totally agree with selling it seperatly, it was just an unfair move for those people who didn't have credit cards.
Now like most you guys here said how anet didn't have to give us wintersday when we complained about the lag saying "oh, anet didnt have to do this event so stop complaining"
Well guess anet DIDNT HAVE TO make the BMP avalable period.
So you Have the BMP and got it the first time around or waiting to get one its not going to change gameplay at all for anyoner from any angle you look at it so what if the items you earned are exclusive and the like, they are still gonna be...they have better skins than any other weapons in the game.
Some of you seriously need to re-think a little.

Well there's some point in that, but these days there is actually nothing special anymore, like FoW or even 15k armor in the old days. Whenever I play now, I see more people with FoW, than 15k when I started. There are ofc no unique items, but some of them could be a little more special.

I'm not really surprised that Anet put BMP back on the market. It's a nice little diversion when I don't feel like grinding/farming/shaving 8 seconds off missions for masters. I got mine for free with EOTN and it was nice. If I had had to purchase BMP, I would not have felt it was worth the money. Let's face it, the only thing you get is a weapon/shield/focus skin only you can use. Put another way, How many people would pay $10 for destroyer items?

I seem to remember it being the same price as in the shop, and you got the BMP for free, and you didnt even have to leave your own home.
Seriously, wtf man? Your post makes no sense to me at all.
Im not sure its worth the price theyre selling it for, some of the missions were kinda fun (Saul D'Allesio ftw), but the Gwen one in particular was just boring - try them for yourself though. Tbh, I kinda forgot about this, only played each mission a couple of times then got bored with them.

This has to be at least the hundredth time i've said this....yet again a-net makes a "high end" item easially availiable to anyone
Also to the kid saying nothing is unique in GW that is true theres nothing that you can have all by yourself that nobody else can. but you can get items that are very hard to get or ones that not everyone is able to get that makes your char stand out in the crowd.
Take dervish primeval armor dyed black (before everyone with a derv got it) or Razah being able to be obtained through a simple quest instead of having to save up a gemstone set. or elemental swords being able to be obtained through raptor farming the list goes on and on and on. Even the Eternal Sword which could only be obtained through doing all the quests in UW or FoW can now possibly be gotten through 15 minutes of RA witha wiki build. Saying these things are no big deal is like saying its wrong for people who spent 100k+xxxe for a mini mallyx only to have it availiabe at merchants for 100g. Even titles that at first were very impressive to have now mean almost nothing. Survivor can be farmed through many, many different areas. KoaBD can be gotten just by beating all 3 campaigns on nm/hm or maxing out a few rep point titles that all have easy farms.
Then again it kinda makes sense a-net doesnt seem to care about "high end" items in PvE as much. It started out a PvP based game and imo is still is mostly geared toward PvP.
Also, to those of you who said you couldnt get the BMP or whatever from the GW store because you didnt have a credit card. Get on your bike and head down to wal-mart, pay 40 bux or whatever the game is for one of those pre-paid visas and use that.
Sry if this turned into way to big of a rant :-p
