Bug Fixes
Fixed an exploit that could be used to introduce post-Searing items into pre-Searing.
(Sorry if it's been posted previously).

yea long time ago( and i mean long) it was possible to access your guild hall in pre-searing because of a bug in an update. so you could take expensive stuff out of storage and use it in pre.
the people that did it got a punished though.

Surely that would've made it possible to get LDoA and legendary Survivor? I guess titles weren't around then.

Why would those people get punished? It's Anets own stupid fault. If you give someone candy, he eats it and than you say: oh sorry I cave the the wrong one! But you can't give it back you have to pay me 10$ =\

Titles weren't in then. This was when no-one knew that Prophecies was called Prophecies, we called it Guild Wars :-)
The exploit involved a loophole in the PvP Match watching thingy. You could end up in the Guild Hall when watching from a Pre-searing toon.

Bad comparison. Try these: "but your honour, they left the window at the back of the house unlocked, clearly that was an invitation to climb thorugh and rob the place, no?"
Or more in context maybe: "but you used the same password for your GW account as for your e-mail account and I know that one as it's on that post-it on your monitor. It's your fault I could log into your account, sell all your stuff and delete your characters so don't blame me."
Just because you can do something, doesn't make it ok to do it. Might does not make right. Not even for America.

Yeah, I remember when people were able to do this. I saw people running around Pre-Searing with maxed out weapons and such. Anet fixed it though (thankfully).

I have a feeling that this was done to fix a newer exploit, probably one similar to the Mallyx exploit.

I don't know why people still attempt to rip at exploits KNOWING they are gonna lose all their hard work.
