I saw this game in the shop and I think I`d like it, but first I need to ask a few questions...
1. Are there any free servers (as for WoW)??? I searched on the internet but I found nothing...
2. I`m from Europe... in case of no free servers, can I pay in EURO and how much will it be?
3. How do I connect? I found no guides on the web. Does the game have only one server?
I don`t want to buy this game if I won`t be able to play it, so please, can anybody help me? thx
Yes you do indeed need to pay, it's £9 GBP monthly, I suggest you either check www.coh.com for the Euro version or use XE.com to convert from GBP to Euro.
'Free' servers like WoW are generally illegal and I doubt this board is the place to discuss them. However I do not know of any CoX pirate servers.
You have to pay like any other mmo. Private servers are very illegal, and there are none anyway. The way they do the login and stuff makes it to where it is very, very hard to make private servers without recreating it from the ground up (Kind of like what Starwars Galaxies fans are doing).

1 - No there aren't any free servers
2 - It's probably not a problem.. I think they take paypal so you might want to set up an account with them.. (I'm not sure.. do some research first)
3 - It's simple create a master account here.

Then all you have to do is enter the 15 digit code you get with city of heroes/villains and apply it to your newly made master account. Then start up the game.. sign in, and create your first character. And don't be afraid to ask people questions.. we were all noobs at this game at some point. (that's what the /help channel is for)
Keep in mind that on the box it says to have a minimum 512 megabytes of RAM.. but if you do that you'll only get about 3 frames per second.. I highly suggest 1 if not 2 GB of ram.. and a kick ass video card.. People play this game for the graphics.. and if you're not getting the full experience then it's not even worth buying

Did your new PC come in yet? Is it as awesome as I told them to get it?
Well I played the game because it was fun, not for the graphics lol.
But yeah.. it just came in today and I'm waiting for dad to get home to set it up. Plus it was sitting the sun for a lot of the day so if I try to power it up then the circuits will surely fry.
Anyway.. I'll probably have the computer with all my files, programs, and settings by the end of the day, and playing CoV by tomorrow.
But Mzz as for you.. Be careful in college, I know you're having some trouble with your roommates so try to be passive until things get sorted out.. Dont start any fights, don't instigate.. Right now the best thing you can do is just ignore them if they're breaking the rules. Just keep your head down until the problem is resolved.. Nobody wants to see you get hurt.

Thanks for your concern, but if I don't speak up about what's going on, no one will. Plus he's been pissing me and everyone else on the floor off since day one. . .
Anyone here can tell you what happens to people who get on my nerves. They are often removed from the picture. However, since this is the real world, I need to go about this bureaucratically. And is there really anything more evil than going through a bureaucratic system?
