okay so i have a rad/psi and i plan to be doing a lot of pvp and arena with him. mt question is what would be hte best epic power sets to choose. i have narrowed it down tho psi mastery and force mastery because they looked like the best with there powers.

Well, I have to say WP has a good suggestion, Psi is a good choice, but I'm sure you'd like the reasons for each so you can make an informed decision.
Dark Mastery
Good set support, has a teir 3 Armor for smash/lethal/toxic/negative energy, best way to cover against spines. But despite how helpful the other skills are, they limit you to mele range, dangerous combination if you back it up with enough defensive pool powers, but that'll drain your end way too much.
Electric Mastery
This one's kinda fun, has a ranged immobilize and an armor for smash/lethal/energy, but with a mele strike and a PbAoE end drain, the mele could be a hastle. However, the End drain is an auto-hit...
Power Mastery
This is great if you want to buff those debuffs more, cause a whole ton of havoc, and be able to cover yourself from smash/lethal. Its teir 4 is Total Focus, dangerout mele hit for a defender to pop out. But its Power Build Up is what you may want this for, boosts all your secondary affects and damage/acc like any other Build Up, but with secondaries boosted, those debuffs will definately get to ppl.
Psychic Mastery
Fun, ranged, effective set. Unless al those new Willpower guys decide to say hi. You get a hold/sleep, a smash/lethal/psi armor and a dangerout AoE hold/repel combo. Very good for most opponents, but Willpower is virtually immune to these, as well as your secondary, but you'll have everyone else ducking for cover.
I'd say it depends on your build. If your focusing on debuffs, Power Mastery would suit you best. More psi offensive, Dark and Electric would balance you out well. With a healthy mix already Psi Mastery would be perfect. Its all up to you and how you play. Have fun, and if no-one's said it alreay, Welcome to Gameamp!
