Alright, I've gotten into my shaman now, and I'm currently lvl 37. I am enhance spec for the levelling, and we'll see how it goes later on, if I go restoration/elemental/enhance for Outlands.
But I was curious about something: Having Shamanistic Focus, the skill that reduces the cost of your next shock spell when you crit in melee, what happens to it if you crit twice in a row? Does it stay up for 2 shock spells or do you lose the second one?
For example, you crit, windfury procs, and you crit again before you can use Shamanistic Focus. Can you hit a Shock twice, both of them getting their cost reduced?
Also, I was planning on using a 2h weapon, skipping the duel wielding, since I hear shamans want slow weapons, and there's some good 2h weapons later on I wouldn't mind having. Good idea?

If you crit twice in a row, the second one probably just refreshes the "focused state" you get from the talent, making the first crit essentially not count towards it. But I get the feeling the focused state doesn't last long enough for it to be an issue, seeing as shocks have a ten second cooldown or something. I'm not sure though, I don't play a shaman.

it will probably refresh, not much study on it was made yet since it was added in 2.3. So advice go try out and let us all know ^^

The buff will refresh, it lasts a while so make sure you get off your shock every time you see it.

as was said it does simply refresh so spam shocks as u can when its up, as for 2hand over duals dont even bother. my shammy is now in outlands and i tried 2handing....sooooo much slower 2 kill then with duals
