i have never pvped in my life.
but i plan to once i get a toon to lvl 50....if i've do that.....
then im gonna make a pvp toon.
I'm not a altoholic...no really i only have 1000+ toons...thats not..really...never mind.

I am the leader for one of the bigger PvP groups on Freedom, Gorath's Most Wanted. This does not make me the "Top Dog" by any means its just that PvP is pretty much all I do anymore.

I'm a big fan of PvP especially in the PvP zones. I'd do more arena PvP'ing but its really hard to find other players. The one problem I see in the arena is that all the system scheduled matches are for 8 players. I believe there'd be more players in the arena if there were 2, 4, and 8 player system scheduled matches. Unfortunately when I schedule my own matches, I usually end up waiting 5 minutes or more and no one shows up.
Its much easier to go to a RV or SC and attack villians.
As far as the top dog, I couldn't tell you but I know it ain't me! :)

I'm into zone pvp. That's basically all that I ever do. :P
That and PLing friends/being PL'd. (Not the wasteful kind of PLing where you pL anyone for some money, I ONLY PL friends since the lower level content is so boring.)
I only make PvP builds, and currently am leveling a Fire/Psi Dominator off of only PvP Missions.
I am by no means the best PvPer/most in to PvP, although I do like it a lot :-D (Mostly on CoV side tho...)
When the sum is 273, the hollow soul I will be.

In case anyone's curious, the reason I asked is for my next comic :)
I needed a name for someone (not an actual picture this time) and so far "MadPhinger" is coming out ahead just for the giggles aspect.

Maybe you all haven't seen how well I die when I PvP. I must say I die better then the average bear. Anytime I am in one of those zones and the thought goes through my head "maybe I should attack someone..." the next minute is not pretty.
If you want to see how well one of your toons can die... let me have control in PvP.
Needless to say Das Carrot is awesome at dealing health not death...

Not to inflate my ego or anything but I have to say my peacebringer does pretty well in recluses victory. My Supergroup likes to put together war parties in recent weeks and go hunt the gold farmers. Yes there are strange villianous people who do nothing but go fetch a heavy and hunt turrets for gold (and who we suspect are behind the nasty spam messages or work for them) We consider it a service to the community to help these particular villians repeatedly meet their maker. They are not very skilled in their characters and dont seem too smart as they usually hit the same heavy port over and over again. . .yeah we have fun with this lol. Quite a few villians know this and leave us alone to hunt. Anyways we specifically target them for destruction and well leave the villians to themselves. However it does leave us open to attack from everyone else who wants to have a go at us . Now my PB has no defense to psi so a psi dom with perma-domination going can literally tear him apart. I dont have any extra perception in him yet, so the stalkers can suprise me but to everything else. . . . :D
I've discovered that unless the villain that picks a fight with me has been to heroes and knows what this char is about, they don't know how to deal with one, let alone fight one. (which for now i'm very re leaved that many still haven't made the connection with the quantum gun temp power they can get and the fact that they can 2 shot me with it. . .uh you villains arnt reading this are ya? :o )
Anyways The other week was our last war party and in patrolling the skies I caught the attention of a few villainous "friends." A brute, dark/fire corrupter and a ice dom. Apparently they were on a ganking spree and decided to go after the shiny lycan looking hero. Next thing I know i'm hit with an immob of some kind, knocking out my flight and I begin to fall. I noticed the corrupter laid a tar patch for me when I landed and the brute was just standing in the middle of it ready to pound me into next week. . .a nice trap. I shift my form to my heavily IO enhanced and slotted white dwarf form to give me a chance. By then the brute is in my face and I actually beat him to a standstill. Not to allow this thing to best them, The corrupter leans in with a fireball and fire rain, and the brute starts in again. "Now i'm in trouble I think to myself but wait. . . ." I hit my white dwarf teleport power and aim for straight up in the air. A few more of those and I go back to my near human form and hit my flight again, escaping their dastardly trap. After a few more of those type of encounters I actually got a compliment from the brute.
You know I really should write up a build guide for this guy.

I've been thinking for a while that a PB would be great in PVP because of brute strength, lowering defense, self heals, and of course, Dwarf with teleport.
In my experiments, my WS doesn't do so hot, but maybe I need to improve her slotting and practice more.

well, i wouldnt consider myself the BEST PvPer, but i PvP quite often on my Fire/nrg Blaster and so far he totally pwns, i can take out alot of peeps, im not the person that knows alltho special hints about PvP or is super into it, but i do PvP often

I love PVP with my MM, first time i took her into Bloody Bay and after several nice encounters with heroes she received one of the best compliments I have ever had.
A team of 8 heroes were fighting all sorts of villains and they told me each time my MM came out they had to divert 3-4 of them just to stop her.
Since then each time i enter a pvp zone i expect teams of heroes to come at me, not because I feel egotistical about my MM but I know she's good enough to take it head on.

Shes a bot/traps MM. She wasn't originally designed for pvp, it was more accident i found out.
Bots have a wide range of resistances and attacks, all pretty much smashing/energy damage and traps is an alround buff/debuff set that includes damage towards the end.
Why is she good? I play to her strengths. Bodyguard mode is a must (i have a macro in my tray for this) and she mostly supports her minions with traps as this is the way of a MM. (she only has the one ranged attack and a melee vet reward att) the rest are ways of slowing heroes down or buffing defences/heals of her group.

Well even though all the peeps here are trying not to boast about themselves, I'm going to boast a little. When I get either my troller or blaster to 50, I'm going to make my pb a pvp powerhouse, he will be the one and only law as far as I'm concerned.So if you want someone to add, you can add Nova-Genesis to your raisin stars, cause he will pwn. (Name Still up for changes, if you have any ideas pm me with them. ^.^)

A member of Gameamp and my Virtue SG, Detra, lives in the PVP zones. ( More jokes about her actually being Debtra may result in violence ). But I have had very little success building a PVP toon, mostly a Tank/Troller guy, guess it's something I lack the necessary skills for it.

Well as a follow up on my post from a couple of months ago, I have made the great Nova-Genesis, and he does pwn. And of course you know that the fabeled Ice tank well always be a problem as far as a pvp problem. His only lvl 38, but I can kick some major butt, can't wait for 50.

I wanna LOLpvp a PB i got the void hunter rifle from the villain side arc, i do quite well for myself in PvP and occassionally frequent TPvPL practices to get killed by the 8 man pvp teams, 1 purpled out blaster supported by 7 defenders PB buffin the blaster :O. well not always but i do very well for myself in pvp zones even though i AM a villain

lol, damn. I didnt know someone from GMW was on here.
Back when I actually played the game (left a few months ago) I had about 12 50s spread across 2 accounts, on Justice, Freedom, and a lil Infinity. PvPed pretty much exlusively (other than farming) for a loooong time now.

I do PvP on test just not with the TPvPL. My group is currently ranked #2 on the test VG ladder though.
