Hey all idk if this is the right place, but feel free to move it if it isnt. I just checked the /favor to have a laugh (SS/LB weekend) and I was shocked to see only 600 minutes O_o while yesterday there was 31k minutes of favor remaining... Did they remove it?

yeah i saw about 4k minutes few hours ago o.O
message popping up of ppl maxing lb & ss like every 3 seconds... was very irritating =/
maybe we hit the limit and it just reset..
gz to those here who got it, i saw some ppl...timi and a few others i remember hehe

Not sure guys, i think it resets.
I also have me a question.
Now that favor is by WORLD standards, back when it was territory, how was ToA in the international district? Was it just dead because it relyed on territory?

I went into UW with friend at 35k minutes. When we were there 5 minutes it said: The world no longer has favor of the gods.

yea, I found it odd when I checked an hour ago and just saw 2k minutes. When I went to bed 9 hours before that, we was around 50k minutes.

sure it's lame, but i think it's good to have a max.
the favor we reached, equaled 2 weeks and if it were to go further it could've equaled 1 month by now. in that month there are more accomplishments, and could reach heights we thought impossible. in example...FOREVER!!
people will use this time to endlessly farm in UW or FoW.
then ecto prices drop too low, shard prices drop too low, and you can get ecto's for 50G. then you'll see noobs wearing FoW armor and if you ask how much time did it cost, he'll probably say: i farmetd it yesterday wif mah m4d sk1llz wif mah derfish/necromezmer.
i see people already complaining how the situation with FoW armor is nowadays, imagine how that will be by that time o.O
and then people stop GW because there are too much noobs in the game, and then osama bin laden stops playing guild wars and will come from his cave and start a war with his guildmates and then the world explodes and it will all be the fault of a-net not resetting the favor.

Probably it has something to do with integers... it's around 32k bits (35.xxx) those minutes are saved in an integer, but it got reset because it reached it max.
This isn't lame. We got enough favor each day. Check ecto prices, they've never been soo low, so what is it you're whinning about?

"After twenty announcements have been made, all Guild Wars players in all territories will be granted the gods' favor for one hour. If another character earns an achievement during that time, the favor of the gods will be extended for an additional three minutes. Favor is reset at 2147483647 milliseconds, that are 35791 minutes."

Ye you got a point there, but I just wanted to see how far we could get in this weekend, it wasnt really about the entrance to the realms.
I now remember that ecto's were easily sold for 8,5k until the free UW/FoW weekend, they never recovered from that.

Am I the only one who doesn't care? Ofcourse its cool to see how much favor we had. But if you realise that the UW was open for a month non stop, ectos would be overfarmed again and drop in price.. Im sure that would happen.
