| Gate of Madness HardMode Team Build needed |

I've been trying to beat this mission in hardmode with my necro but Lich and Shiro in hardmode are brutal. I've beaten this mission with my warrior with no problems but I was teaming up with one of my guildmate and the advantage is 6 heroes instead of 3. Through out the entire GW life I pretty much complete everything with H/H. So I'm just wondering if someone can make a guide about this mission, HM of course, with H/H. I can beat Shiro with my nec but Lich is brutal when I try to cap all the shrines. I've tried enchantment but his attack removes enchantment. I've try blind also but doesn't last that long. If you can provide me with team build and stradegy it'll be great. Thanks in advance.

I know that can be troubeling, I have completed it with my Para buy I know it will be hard in HM. I want to vanquish this area so ask me if you want help. BTW I am R6 Lightbringer and I have a build that no-one else does and I know this mission by heart.

I not done that one HM in ages but I used a mesmer ineptitude built (cry of pain was not available then) I was at the time r7lb if memory serves (although Lb is useless on shiro/lich combo)
but if you have
2 monks that are worth there skills (on ZB/prot one WoH)
1 sv necro
a couple of earth ele (sandstorm my personnal favorite)
a water warder for slow down
any type of interupts (I prefer mesmer but ranger will do as well)
leaving you 2 open slots (dont recommend mm bad idea)
condition do indeed expire faster in HM so mantra of persistance is a nice one to keep in mind
tanking in HM is a bit "rough" but if you wanna go that route I recomend Ursan tank, just tried it in E-grove HM and it works quite well (that and I had a monk that knew how to monk behind me thanks Kanna)
in GoM when going to cap shrine go for the back wall thus breaking aggro of lich or shiro which ever one is left alive. dispatch the margo (fairly easy and normally by the time last one is dead shrine "should" be capped then move to next one
have 1 carry rebirth in dire emergency that person should know when to run to safety. make sure he/she understand that. like if 2-3 fall he/she breaks aggro and keeps safe (preferably the WoH monk carries Rebirth)
other then that it is really up to the knowledge of the player any class can make or break Hard Mode
question is dont give up and you will do it. heck it took me like 3 months to do e-grove but guess what we done it.
So do not give up, and maybe just maybe I can lend a hand with some of my toons
if not takken with other stuff.

I guess my point wasn't stated clearly. What I'm trying to do is complete everything by myself meaning only me and heroes, henchies. It only took me and one other guildmate 4 days to finish legendary guardian on my warrior. So on this necro i'm trying to do something different, finish hardmode with H/H so that I can say I truly earn that title. Gameamp is a large community and I've seen lots of good builds here so I thought I would try asking for advice here. So what I really need is a good heroes/hench build for Gate of Madness Hardmode.

To be blunt sweetie, it really depends on your personal playing style. I finished my Guardian Title back in the Summer- although that was before lots of skills changed.
I played a monk... which can make a difference in your teams setup... I used -Seed of Life- which is a Sunspear Skill; so your Hero won't be able to equip that. But, if you're deteremined to get it with Henchmen and Heroes, its just a matter of Trial and Error now.
For GoM you'll probably want a Warrior to have Wild Blow!

I'm being a bit lazy and just tossed down their current builds a tad changed hehe, my bad!
But as you can tell, sense I'm Monk I don't always bring a Monk Hero with me... I can make up for it by just bringing a Henchmen. The only reason I tossed those builds down was because its just an idea for ya!
The Earth Ele has been awfully helpful through many HM missions (Course his build has been changed to fit the area I was going)...so if there aren't as many Knockdowns, change out Stability, and so forth.
The SS Build is just a random one. I like the Mesmer skill Mistrust so I stuck it in there. (For an interrupt which can actually help with the Lich).
The Warrior Build depends on your style...With Insidious Parasite, he'll at least get some healing while doing dmg...Just keep in mind, Wild Blow is needed to end Battle Scars....
sense you're a Necro you probably wont need to bring another Necro hero and can bring a Monk Hero- I suggest a prot (prob cause I'm in love with SoR~"Shield of Regeneration") xD ....
But come to think of it, A RT would be helpful...Maybe a Spirit Light build? "OACjEyiDJPOTkb6s6RtncSzLGA" I tend to like Rts more then monks anyhow. Hehe :-)
~*~Tips~*~
When you're pulling be sure the tank hero is trying to keep the aggro- you'll want to pull (*lich/shiro*) far enough to where it's just about to Break Aggro and run back towards the Center. (Basically pulling him towards the Gate). If you do it correctly... for the most part he'll concentrate on the Tank...unless he dies, then you'll have to run back, rez, and try again.
I do suggest killing the Undead Lich first. It'll make the Bonus much easier.... Shiro is easier to get rid of when you're trying to capture shrines... your party just needs to be flagged to the back of the Shrine.

only hard part is the lich as you have to lure him back and all stand behind the wall as he removes enchs on each attack :)
