Eh? Not sure what you mean here either. Toons are linked to your account, not to computers. If I were to come to your house and log in to CoH/V using my own account, my toons would be there. Same with any account/PC combination. I'd go as far as to say toons are not associated with a computer at all.

As Lani said, they aren't specific to any computer. I have City of heroes loaded on 3 computers (my home PC, a laptop, and a computer at church (I used to have time during lunch hours to get there and play for a bit)).
Now if you are talking about going from server to server, then you are correct they recently made an upgrade to the game that lets you move a character from one server in the game to another server. This was previously not able to be done. I know a number of ampers who have moved some of their favorite characters to more popular server (more popular when they play).
This does cost money for each move you want to make, as well as you have to check to see if the name of your character is avaible on the other server.
Let us know if we didn't answer you question or how we can help further.

So, do you mean if I had one account and started up a second account (paying 2 monthly fee for those accounts), and I really enjoyed one of the heroes from my second account. I decided to cancel the second account but I want to transfer that favorite hero to my first account.
Is that what you mean by account to account?
If that is the question, the answer is no currently. You can not at this time transfer a character to another account.
And I have not heard anywhere that it is even being looked at. But I don't look at all the posts that go on in the forums of the main boards.
Anyone else heard anything about this?

I highly doubt they will ever implement that. It would be the perfect way to sell accounts/characters created by farmers and gold sellers. Besides creating new characters is where all the fun is. I see no real reason to ever have a need for it.

Personally, I wouldn't mind if they did do this as I am one of those with dual accounts. I enjoy bringing support toons along with my mains to help fill in the holes in their armor (such as an emp with AB or RA for those end heavy scrap sets or a bubbler for a resist set like inv) and this also allows me to play more independantly which is nice on low population nights. As they are our characters, and we've put the time into them, we should be able to do what we want with them.
I certainly understand not implementing it, there are many good reasons not to, such as the selling of characters by powergamers and such... it would just be nice to be able to shuffle some of my more crowded servers onto the second account for more room for new ones.
