Well, February 7th marks the start of the Chinese New Year. Think ANet will do anything for it this year? Its only 3 weekends away and no hint of it yet. Would be rather nice to get a Mini Rat. ^^

Since they didn't let Cantha partake in the Christmas stuff it makes me believe that they intend to keep the Chinese New Year going strong there. Though aNet has proven me wrong in the past so I guess we will just have to see. I hope they do though. I have a little pot of cash set a side just for getting my misfor... ahhh i mean lucky title up. lol

I really enjoyed Last Years Canthan New Year festival. I'm hoping they make this years event as interesting as they did the previous one.
Any speculations as to what kind of festival hat we may see this time around? If we'll get a chance at another mini? Hmm...

i would love a dragon mask as i don't have one yet, well atleast something that looks cool :D (dislikes the demon mask)

This year is the year of the Rat, dunno if you were implying that Kanna with the mini rat wish. Maybe a hat would be a rattail or something. I'm not sure what I'd like to see, or rather, get from this festival.

i think it's gonna be a rat tail u attack to ur butt..can't imagine a mini rat coz that would be tiny o.O and rat hats would just make u look like a mental challenged person rofl

I know its the Year of the Rat. I was born on that year. :P But as for a possible helm. We could see some more traditional, and get a Dragon Dance helm. Last year was the Lion Dance helm, if I'm not mistaken.

Maybe one of the quests will involve retrieving a "Dire" rat tail for Bahamut the God-King of Dragons so we can get a class change... ;)

I'm pretty sure it will be exactly the same as last year, only all pigs will be replaced with rats.
Celestial rat, launch the rat, minipet rats etc.
Shame it isn't the year of the cat, dragon or some other cool animal. ;)

I really liked the Canthan New year...but wasn't that the festival that caused massive lag to almost everybody in Europe? Or was it something else....can't remember it that good..
Anyway It would be nice if you can get an mini-dragon then 0_o
