hey im new to the whole vanquishing thing so im not that used to HM right now, but i was wondering if anyone could give me a build for my self and a hero team, im a warrior
any help would be much appriciated

HM is not as easy, so you can't just take a build and kill all stuf.
And I don't think ascalon area's are easier than other area's...
I think you should just search a good party, but hey that's just my opinion.

It's not that hard. 4 Man places are very easy if you just take lots of blind/defense and one main person for overall damage. I normally run 1 Ele with Mind Blast, me as my moebius sin, a monk hero, and a support rit with a few offensive spirits.

Since you didn't say what your class is, I would either recommend either the three necro (or two necro and rit build). I posted it here.
You also can go with the holy grail of team builds - damage dealer, monk, ele (fire nuker), and MM. I also have used this build, but was made easier because I an the monk.
If you haven't done any vanquishing and are new to HM, I don't recommend starting around Ascalon. The difficulty is much greater than say Whittman's Foley, compared to normal mode. The higher level areas you can have 8 man parties, and the monstes are 2 levels higher than what they are in normal mode. In Ascalon, they are level 22 and 25. Bosses get a huge boost in HM.

there is a prob with that seeing that ah most places in old asclon is 4 party u couldn't have had the monk or ele with u with you cause that would be 6

well a) that is 2+1+1+1=5 not 6, and b) he never said his friend was also war... maybe his friend was the mm or monk or ele

for kitten sake I vanquish this using
1 - mesmer
1- ss ele hero
1- mm hero
1- heal monk hero
now I know it can be challenging but it is do able
ss ele = sandstorm

Not sure if you have tried this yet. But if the party of size 4 is becoming too difficult for you...Do it like I did, Start from Yaks Bend (party of 6). It really makes a difference.
I just took a weekend and vanquished everything backwards. :P
Left the computer running a few times for sleep/work/etc.
But yeah. It can help. ..
With a Team of 4 the necro build works, or a Prot Monk instead with more DMG based characters as the others.
I can't really sit down right now and design a build for you (I apologize)
But I can say, mostly its trial and error. Go out with one build; if at first it doesn't succeed, try and try again. xD
