Sethekk Halls with my rogue.
We get to Talon King Issis, and after a few wipes, finally get him.
Shoulderpads of Assassination drops.
I lose the need roll to a hunter...

I lost the need roll on the Whitemend Hood to a lock on my 7th run. Haven't seen it since. :-((

um.. wow...hunter shouldn't have needed unless it was mail at that lvl. I'm guessing your a rogue or feral druid. I wouldn't have needed with my hunter.

I guess someone didn't understand the Need before Greed adage eh? Heck! Sounds like it wasn't even Greed but Spite or something as that's BoP gear.
I think that's what I call a 'swearing is ok situation'. :-)

Thats why you dont let a hunter need them to begin with, and if he is in your guild you kick him out for being a nub....
You only roll on loot that is YOUR classes loot. ie hunters wear MAIL not LEATHER!
That and you should all be passing then rolling afterwards, if someone rolls on an item straight away we call that a ninja and kick them from the group then flame them on trade chat....
So yeah, I really dont feel bad becuase it shouldnt happen to begin with.

Hunters do wear leather till lvl 40 than they can go start wearing mail. I would want to vent also if I lost the roll on something that I have wanted for quite awhile.

I rarely need anything myself. I do greed on any item able to be DE'd though. :p

thats not entirely true....however IF your armor type is mail, and leather drops then you can freely take IF theres no1 of that specific armor type. ie rogue gear drops but no rogue/feral druid, then a "dps war"....as pathetic and stupid as they are should then be entitled to freely need. or a mail healing peice drops and the healer is a pally, he should be permited to need even if theres a shammy there who wants because the shammy merely wants it for an off-spec.
but yeah, as for the original topic...i was playing my shammy acouple days ago...my leggings(mail) droped in ramps and A FOOCKING DRUID NINJA'D. i was pissed horibly and lucky me, i know his GM so i got him kicked immediately for it.
