Ok, not going to go through my thought process on how I started thinking about this, cause well...I am not even sure. lol
I have worked in retail all my adult life, and have noticed that people are at their spaceiest or rudest during a full moon. Now, it could just be that during a full moon is when they decide to come out in mass, but regardless, it is everymonth. They get mad at the smallest things, or they are standing by what they are looking for and yell across the store asking where it is. Or they need help doing something they should be calling a professional about and not someone that just sells the darn thing. lol
I was wondering if any of you have noticed this phenomenon or have one of your own you can share from your work/school/hobby experiances.

Aww..so monthly u have a couple of bad nights? That really sucks. Unless, well, you have that affliction that comes with full moons and just don't realize you have been out and about?? That could make the morning hurt a bit. lol

There's been alot or urban myths regarding Full Moon, from more pregnancies to people having lost weight due to the moons gravitational pull, it does have effect i believe, as even Mobile Phone radiation can effect people, the moon has been here since the beginning of man so yeah, lots of weird things reported throughout history.
Im not having any problems related, other then every few weeks sleeping problems, but that is not related to full moon whatsoever.

Idk if this is just me or not, but every full moon i get all hairy, my teeth get all pointy, and i have an insatiable hunger for human flesh. After all that i wake up naked under an oak tree with the taste of blood in my mouth and little to no recollection of the night prior. Strange stuff, man

Yeah, there are..but it is one thing to read about it and another to have to deal with ppl that it affects. lol Just once I would like to see someone affected postively, but then those ppl probably aren't shopping but adding to the more pregnancy myth. lol

So, in other words...you don't sleep well during a full moon either?

I've learned about this in class. It is called "self fulfilling phrophecy"
It means that people remember details that attract attention and will think that it is always so.
people say that there are more women giving birth or burglary's during full moon. But that's just because people will remember that it was a full moon when the event happened, because ther was more ligth. People don't remember that it wasn't a full moon so they draw bad conclusions.
Sorry for my bad spelling and chaotic explanation.
It's hard enough to explain in dutch =p

In the auto industry where I work (Rymes with blonda) we have a 3 day return on vehicle purchases. national average from manufacture states day after full moon is twice as likely to return vehicles than any other day.

hehe, some of my friends are security guards at the mental health center (funny farm) and they always up security on Full-Moon days,
my Brother, he's in the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) always has more trouble with people wanting to disrespect him in some way or another during a full-moon.
me, myself, i'm always half-loopy and you never know what to expect, full moon or not. from my experiance, Deer are more active and fish bite at night stronger with a full moon.
if there's slight cloud cover, a light rain, and a full moon at about 21:00-23:00 at Nemeiben Lake between end of may to mid june you can just hammer big pike and walleye. :D
All lies and jest, still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest.

well alien vs preditor calls it a hunters moon...
i stole this off a site:
Popular legend has it that the full moon brings out the worst in people: more violence, more suicides, more accidents, more aggression. The influence of the moon and behavior has been called "The Lunar Effect" or "The Transylvania Effect." The belief that the full moon causes mental disorders and strange behavior was widespread throughout Europe in the middle ages. Even the word "lunacy" meaning "insanity" comes from the Latin word for "moon."
11,613 cases of aggravated assault in a 5-year period: assaults occurred more often around the full moon.
34,318 crimes in a 1-year period: crimes occurred more frequently during the full moon.
Reference: J. Psychology, vol. 93:81-83, 1976.
the full page shows that there is not a massive accordance with fact here but that it is a few that would agree moons make people crazyish...

Well, its widely known that Full Moon does something with things, living and non-living for that matter, the seas rise higher, causing floods, people act more weird, etc. etc.
And no wonder that since the medieval ages when people truly believed for example a simple thing as: The moon is made of cheese, its easily to imagine a simply story about a person acting wierd during full moon to become a legend that still is known up to this day.
So far i know though, i have no real problem, i like it actually, more comfortable especially when its a very bright moon, not so dark when walking in the streets. I like the blue shade, really do, gives that ''mysterious'' feel to things.
