I had a nice long discussion with another Blaster last night and he tried to convince me that Super Jump is a better travel power for a blaster than flight.
My question is: During a "Super Jump", is a blaster able to get off any shots and if so when? As a flying blaster, I can get off a non-interruptible shot at any time although I'll have to pause for a moment. How does firing while in the middle of a SJ work? Does the blaster pause in mid-leap (defying physics) to get his/her shot off?

You fire in mid leap and continue the arc of you projection, without the back up of speed, as suppression kicks in after the attack.
SJ is in theory the best for a blaster, because you can take up Acrobatics for KB protection, which can mean alot to a damage heavy AT like blasters.

I opted to go flight and while in combat hover (slotted with 2 fly Enh) along with swift I move just about as fast as people running without sprint on, that gives my blaster KB protection and added DEF. I also chose to run stealth during her more squishy levels, to get the DEF bonus from that. In her 40s I found I was rarely stealthing unless I was soloing something ugly, and now at 50 I won't hover unless I need the DEF or KB protection.
Nas :)
BTW this is on Nasali HeatLightning, Fire/Electrical Blaster
