Have to restart a account over /sigh 

Well, recently, somone that I don't know had gotten my account information and had stripped all of what I had being on my account (mats,weps,armo,you name it) and sold it all.... I was saddend, but, I won't delete my characters or anything, but yet, going to start freshly over on my other account.

I have a Elementalist atm level 8 somwhat to try earning survivor being my first character, but was wondering what character I can make to gain back profit to help rebuild my other characters....

or just to make a new character....

so please, should I stick to my ele or prefer a new account?

So your question that no one answered yet is. Should u try to get ur money and stuff back while farmming on your ele or use the 2nd account.If I were you i go with the 2nd account since your acocunt has been hit once your just gonna waste your time and effort for same person or some one else to strip it.



You dont have to take my advice but ijust telling u to give you a warning that it prob gonan get hit again since who ever got in to your acocunt once will prob be back for more.[/B]

Just change the password...

Anyways, I've had something like that too. Fortunatly i wasn't hit as hard as you were, they only got my Icy Dragon Sword, a green shield and 2 ecto's, but i know how you're feeling.

Garrett, do you still Have your serial numbers of each campaign you used to create your account?

If so, visit www.guildwars.com/support , and Send an email to them stating that your account has been hacked and that you request if they can set it back to the point just before it got hacked.

They will require all codes you have used (on the cards) for each account, and if they are valid, they will reset your account to the state it was before it got hacked.
Don't be ignorant, use this feature cause you have the right to do so!

One more add, if you were experienced in GW already.. why do you ask us what to use to get money back? Thought you would know by this time, but I don't know how long you've been playing ;)

And I've played on that account for....33 months.... since GW was out.... = \

it sukcs...badly..

Access denied? you got that message from a GM or something?

Dont send an email, send a support ticket, otherwise, please give us a copy of the reply you got back from them (without serials mind you), so we know if you actually contacted them right.
You can also give up and start over, but then your right to complain is also over, as the chance is big they can just reset it to what it was, just take your time. Their department full of chimps have lunch breaks aswell ^^

NCSoft will be more than willing to help you, but they do need you to follow the procedures they put in place for this.

Go here.

Keep in mind everyone who's willing to donate some of their time and wealth to get you back on your feet will be wasting their efforts if you tarry on the rollback request.

Oh, by the way, your problem is under the "Account Support, Billing, or Technical Support" section.Or just click "Ask a Question." note that you will need to create a "support account"
Subject should be "Request for Account Rollback" or "OMG I GOT HAXED ANET HELPZ ME"
Question should be My account has been hacked, can you please roll it back for me to (state a time and date i think)?

Serial numbers to verify you own the product.

The rest of the fields should be easy to fill.

I also got hacked, but last year in the July~ period...
I thought there was no hope too, and created new characters (even got 2 level 20's again)....

I did what you all said and followed Lani's link and created a question... let's hope for the best.

That is i think way too long ago if your sending a ticket to support now, i do advice to always take a shot at it, but isn't it a bit too late now? Ah well, good Luck regardless, you can only get a Yes if you ask, otherwise its always a NO ^^

I'll still try though :P


You always get an automated reply back the second you submit a question, a few hours later you get the report from a GM that its recieved and will be investigated, from there it can take just 24 hours to 4 days what i had, although my case was different, aaaand dont forget it was during the weekend, so obviously i presume the support team isnt at full strength during that time.

Still though, a try cant harm much nope.
