| question about corruptors in PvP |

how do corruptors generally fare in PvP? Are there any corruptor builds that are especially geared for PvP? If not, could one make a good PvP corruptor?
I was thinking that fire/rad would be a good pick because of the debuffs/buff u get from /rad and that paired with the high damage output of fire would prove to be formidable in PvP. I know corruptors are generally considered a "support AT" but I've been wanting to make one for some time and I've especially wanted to see if I could gear one up for PvP.
Please share your thoughts!

Bah! Corruptors are Support ATs, only in that they support their own damage dealing! If it helps the team, eh, good for them.
Corruptors are almost tank mages in PvP. Fire/Rad is a basic, solid build that'll do the job for you. Get those toggles out, and blast away. =D

Ice or Fire/Cold or Rad are great duelists. Rad is better at the early levels, but at the higher levels Ice blossoms into a much better set.
Nine of the five voices in my head say I'm not insane. Majority rules!

Ice or Fire/ Rad or Dark(early builds, Bloody bay and such) or Thermal, or Cold ( late build warburg and up), also traps does somewhat good as well considering you have set up time
One good set is actually Ice/Kinetics, since one of the worst debuffs you can be hit with is a slow becuase a breakfree does nothing and ice combined with the slow from siphon speed is a ice/kins major tactic in earlier levels, although it has many other tricks such as the stacking transfusion which drains end and gives - regen, stacking damage debuffs from siphon power, but later in the game it gets alot better at 38+ with the coming of yet another - end power and yet another + damage power by warburg you should be running with +60-50%ish damage increase at almost all times not counting Aim as well as being able to drain people dry of their end

here's one that no one will like......
sonic/traps.
sonic de-buffs DEF, plus there are two or three status effect powers in that set.
traps i think is vastly underrated. posin trap has no acc check (correct me if i'm wrong). not to mention force field generator, trip mine, time bomb, seeker drones, web grenade.......
you wont be worth much in bloody bay or sirens, but warburg and RV [with the right power pools] you will be godly.

Sonic blast debuffs resistance, not defense. Big difference.
Traps is pretty solid, if you can get a foe to step into them. You'll generally be stuck having to take TP Foe to get them into your traps; once there, they won't be too hard to take down. Poison Trap is available at level 20, so it's viable (and powerful) in every PvP zone.

thanks WP. my heart was in the right place. poison trap is viable in every zone. it's just alot better when your other powers are viable too.
