What the black dye? O_o

Ok, so I had a couple of black dyes in storage and my girlfriend needed some, so I decided to be nice and give her the two I had. The next day I got back on my account and went to storage and the two black dyes were still there, even though I put them in inventory on my warrior and traded them (there was also 115g that I put in the day before that was on my warrior and the 115g was back on my warrior the next day).

Anyway I was like, "Eh, whatever." and decided I'd give them back to her later in case A-Net decided on a rollback. Well, yesterday I went to her house for a bit and she got on Guild Wars to show me her assassin's armor since I hadn't got to see it yet O_o...

She gets on and all her armor is black and she thanks me for the two I gave her... yet again.. O_o "What?"

My question is... What the heck happened?! O_o

I mean, not that I am complaining but I'd like to know how this happened :O

I dont think so, it was probably lag or something... i donno much about it but maybe individual accounts suffer their own "rollbacks" sometimes?

Lol, no duping whatsoever =p

And I was thinking... is it possible for them to do a rollback on one account and screw up by not looking at the trading that went on? :O

This has actually happend to me too.
Although with a slightly crappy item =/ so I got to Merchant the item twice... Next thing I was gonna do was get my Drago's Flatbow out of the Bank... That s*cked for a moment.

Did the copied Black Dyes also went from Storage to Inventory with you?

I ment was: Did you take the Black Dyes (the once who 'magicly' reproduced) from your storage account to your inventory?
Because, that's what happend to me too. Only with a crappy item... lucky *blank*

Something similar happened to me a while back. I did a farming run with my warrior and merchanted the rubbish drops, before logging off and going to bed. Next day i came on and all the stuff i'd merchanted was back. Was very odd. I put it down to some form of lag or me being a psycho lol.

Lol sorry about that, I was trying to figure out what you meant for like 5 minutes but just couldn't, but now that you stated it more clearly, yes I took them from my storage and put them in my inventory =]
