Well, after getting some really good feedback from you guys about the Fan-Art that Wife of Everdream and myself have been submitting and in-game requests we've decided to have our (mainly her) talents put forth unto anyone really. we're starting with Mesmers, but will be putting up other profession threads later on.
Why do this?
Well, a lot of people take Signature and Avatar requests, some do it for money, some do it for free, Pencil Drawings, Sketches, and Portraits are pretty unique as not a lot of people have the time to do it (or like the reason i don't do sigs/ava's is i have no skill)
What we're asking:
Please submit a fairly good sized picture of your character into this thread, we specialize in portrait shots, but can do action shots as well. Usually zoomed in as much as you can is great and prefered (my eyes go buggy trying to pick up micro details).
What We'll Do:
We'll take requests based on first come, first served basis. WoED will do the faces of the chars as that's her specialty and i will do shading and bodies as that's my only strong suit. =) we, being amatures and not professional artists do not guarantee 100% recreations of your submitted pic, somethings will be slightly different.
What We're Looking For:
This service is free, but tips are greatly welcomed (5k would be a fair tip, 10k would be a good tip and 20k would be an amazing tip) if you are going to leave a tip, please say so at the beginning, donaters will have their Character's Name, Guild, or anyother details of accomplishments put on the paper and our names will be abreviated. for non-donaters we're simply looking for a "good job" pat on the back, our names will be accross the bottom.
and on a joking note, i prefer female characters, someone commented that i enjoy drawing them and to answer that, yes, yes i do.
Thanks all and hopefully this isn't a flop and hopefully we can keep up if it's crazy popular.

So the monk in your signature was drawn O.o I thought it was for real. Is the best drawing so far imo ^^
I hope you can make one for me as soon as my ranger has her FoW boots =D

well i just recently made a mesmer and his name is Jarmroy Dentkin :P
once i get him out of presear ill take a shot of him or you can just find me in game since im in your guild :P

I'd be interested if you can take my Mesmer below
But put this armor below on her as thats what I'm working on getting for her just as soon as I save up the gold.

Darn.. too bad you already got 4 submissions. I took a good screen from my mesmer, but it's not on my laptop. I'll just upload it in the afternoon and post it here. Just let me know if you have time again =]

I've drawn my mesmer today =D It looks 10 time better on paper, but my scanner sucks, so even after editing in photoshop it still looks kinda crap =\
And I printed it out cus it's more handy than looking at screen whole time, but due to my @#$! printer the quality got so bad that a lot of detail was lost. That's also the reason why her right (for us left) leg looks so big. I couldn't see her leg stop at the edge of her armor.
What ya think?

Her head looks like mr Smith from matrix =P The wings look beautifull though!
Just for some reason her waste and breasts don't stand out. Maybe a little more shade/lighting would help express it. Great job on drawing this =D

we just finsihed Jarm's and Magical Sam's, we will be moving on after this.
again, WoED does some amazing work and it's definately time consuming, this is how she farms ;) so please, if you can tip her.
we'll be submitting screens up as they're finished, both as fan art and in this thread so we can keep track of progress.
