I have been playing COX for sometime now and decided to create a toon just for PVP. Since this is my first try I would like to hear some feedback on this build.
Brute Duel Blade/ Energy Aura level 25
(all enchantments are SO's)
DB
Nimble Slash 2 Acc
Power slice 2 acc 1 Dam
Ablating strike 2 acc 2 dam
Typhoon Edge 3 acc 2 end red
Blinding Feint 1 acc
Energy Aura
Kinetic Shield 3 deff
Dampening Field 3 dam red
Power Shield 3 Deff 1 end red
Entropy Shield 1 end red
Pool powers

I have a respec and may use it. just would like to hear some thoughts

Now I'm not an expert by any strecth on PvP, DB, or Energy so I can't help with the build too much. But there are a few little things I can help with the slotting
From what I understand, the faster you can kill the better. So 2-3 damage slots would be ideal for all of your powers. If not, then maybe pick up hasten soon so you can build up Fury like a mad man (or mad woman) and get great damage that way.
Also, CJ offers very, VERY little defense even with slots (like 2.5% maximum) so you could easily toss those slots out and put em some place else. And with Hurdle and SJ, you'll be able to jump just fine without those 3 jump enhances on SJ. I'd move those to some other power.
Lastly, I don't know how good the weaken combo works in PvP (it could be great) but I'm not sure about Typhoon's Edge. I love it in PvE, but I don't think AoE's fair too well in PvP. As far as I know. And since yur 25, you could get Vengeful Strike which is high, single target damage which is essentially the goal of PvPing. All of this is just educated guessing really, I'm not a PvP guy

Yeah, DB isn't really the best set out there for PvP It just doesn't have enough burst damage. Unfortunately you won't really be able to kill someone by yourself in any PvP zone unless they're either afk or extremely bad.
As for Energy Aura I don't really have enough experience with or against it to help you out. Sorry.

i have an energy aura stalker and also have aactually met and then within a few minutes(noting that as a stalker my fights usually last seconds) killed a DB/EA in warburg, truthfully its a decent attack build, the end drain if u can hit ur enemy with it but is not exceptional or superb, if you do go with a DB/EA go with it and get Aid self and slot for damage and accuracy, also the +damage set bonus's your gonna need eventually

EA is not a solid set for PvP with a brute. It doesn't have enough defense, honestly. That can be made up for by getting Aid Self, but to be honest, you'll spend alot more time using Aid Self than other brutes will. Dual Blades also isn't the best set, simply because it'll be hard to pull of the necessary combos against a continuously moving opponent, which any PvPer with half a brain will be doing.
If you still want to go with it, more power to you, but it's going to be difficult against any kind of serious opponent. One thing I must impress upon you is to go with Mace Mastery, for Web Envelope. The -fly and -jump contained within it will make fights alot easier on you.

ok, i think i will just use this as a PVE build. Due to i love how i can just mow through mobs while soloing (it is a fun build).
i really would like to hear a good pvp build, but i don't want to be carbon copy of other builds
hasten would be a great touch to this, i didn't know the deff bonus from CJ was so low

If you want a rather uncommon build im pretty sure i'ld recomend spines/regen for stalkers, dark/cold for corrs and SS/fire for brutes, my personal favorite is the SS/fire brute, its the only build villain side that gets access to 2 BUish powers (fiery embrace and rage) with one being perma if slotted.
(then theres my utter hatred, they kill so much and lose so rarely its boring)
the FOTM's or flavors of the month, or basically the best are EM/regen or EM/NiN for stalkers fire or ice / Rad or dark for corruptors, and SS or EM/Elec
