if you have all sentinel insignias and 13 or higher str, you will have 100AL vs. elemental AND 100AL vs. physical dmg, so they both have an effect.
Warior Princes Xena: Warrior lvl 20
Kamiko Princess: Elementalist lvl 20
Princes Adirill: Monk lvl 20
Il Little Ritu Il: Ritualist lvl 20
No Tears Please: Assassin lvl 20
Empress Keileena: Necromancer lvl 20

I think it gives you +20 armor vs elemental dmg if you have 13 in strenght, otherwise nothing

Yeah that's a real weird descri.ption..
They are pretty expensive at the trader, so I think (hope) that it provides +100 for both but than again.. I've never used them so I'm afraid I can't help you any further.

| QUOTE | Armor +20 (Requires 13 Strength,
vs. elemental damage) |
What I would take this to mean is that it provides a +20 AL bonus, but the part of that related to elemental damage requires 13 Strength.
I haven't used this insignia in a while, and perhaps it's changed, (the insignia is different from the old sentinel armor), but it seems to behave as stated above. Without 13 Strength, you still have +20 armor against physical dmg, and with it, you gain the additional protection against the elements.
With the old armor, you would have 80 armor without the 13 Strength and 100 with, no complications, (intended, at least).

| QUOTE | | Basic Warrior Armor provides up to 80 armor, with an additional +20 armor vs physical damage. |
So basic has +20 vs physical
| QUOTE | | Insignia can be added to all body armor pieces and runes to all body and headgear pieces to improve the armor's functionality. |
insignias ADD stuff, so you will be having both +20 vs elemental and +20 vs physical ;)
its all on wiki :)

The +20vs elemental that you get from sentinals is better than the +10 vs all because it reduces alot more damage (you already have 116 vs physical).

yea 116 with shield ok, thats for sword/axe warriors (most used anyway)
you can add a +5 armor weapon mode to make it 121 and 105,
and a shield mod with armor +10 vs *elemental type*
so 121 and 115 without skills is pretty nice :)

+30 health is better on weapon mods for warrior. There's a cost/benefit thing that increases the higher armor you get.

I though sentinels didn't provide any elemental protection on physical or bonus.I am still not a big fan of it.

Why would it provide elemental protection against physical damage? It says nowhere that it does that.
Bonus damage from weapon attacks is armor ignoring, no matter how you use it. So if you're using an elemental weapon and use a +41 dragon slash, you'll do at least 41 damage no matter what.
