does this mean that to inherit things from our HoM we will need to have the same name as our character from gw1? because i personally was looking forward to having a new name for my new favorite character. >.>

Could it also possibly mean someone could take the name from another person's character and take all their hard work?

Well what it means is that the name of the char(s) that u have in your HOM will be resurved for u. (so that no one else can use them) They will be tied to ur account.. They mite have an option to dismiss the name if u want to but Im not to sure of that part..

let's see if I understand this:
So, if I get my warrior(bob the basher) up to HOM, then I can be the only one who can use the name bob the basher in GW2?

I think the name system should become similar to WoW. And why not you could choose to have your name with 1 word like wow, or with 2 words like in GW?
