What's the point in posting this? It isn't a blog. If you want ppl to reply to your message, give them enough information about the subject.

Ok, here's an explanation to everyone.
Thursday was my nan's funeral. Almost everyone was there, those who couldn't make it for genuine reasons let us know. All apart from 1 of her brothers. After everything she did for him, he didn't even have the decency to let us know he wouldn't be there.

I know that when it comes to death and funerals it can be a stressful time. But I think you are letting this get to you more then it should. The person that didn't show up will have to live with his desicion for the rest of his life. Just be glad it hasn't turned into a family fued like the death of my fiance's grandpa has. Her moms sister is being a complete bi**h and trying to take everything he owned. They have ended up in court over it. She sued my fiance for 1500 dollars that her grandpa gave her when she went through her divorce. Now is that pathetic or what?
I guess in short, be upset, you have a right to. But place your anger where it needs to be. It will subside in a few days.
It's another night in hell. Another child won't live to tell. Can you imagine what it's like to starve to death? And as we sit free and well, another soldier has to yell "Tell my wife and children I love them" in his last breath.
Habitual offenders, scumbag lawyers with agendas. I'll tell you sometimes people I don't know what's worse. Natural disasters or these wolves in sheep clothes pastors. Now damn it I'm scared to send my children to church.

had the same thing on my grandmas funeral.
her best friend didnt came and never even told it to us she couldt come.
we never heard anything from her anymore.

Have any of you thought that people view death differently? Some cry, some get sad and some try to laugh it off. I have known people who refuse to go to funerals because they want to remember them alive not dead. I've had family and friends die and my mom will cry and get sad. Me I just view it as any other day and remember the time I had with the people instead of the time I will lose with them. Death of a love one is a sad moment but getting upset because people did not come is just belittling the person who died.
I have known friends who threw a party with music and games to honor the person who died. Making it a festival to honor and cherish the person who died.
Everyone sees/views death differently. Yes people should of called and said they can't make it but nothing to get upset about. Just cherish your love one and do your best not to make it harder then it has to be.

When both of my grandmas died I had my best freind there it kinda threw a shroud over the event and it was like hanging out with him.It made me not thinking of my grandmas funneral.
