Can someone please give some kind of explanation to how the scoring works, the top 100 has people with 460,000-480,000 and i cant seem to amount more than 430,000-440,000 no matter how many different styles i try to play...can anyone help prz?

turns out wiki had the awnser, for anyone else whos wondering its:
Scoring
At the start of the race every player starts off with 600,000 points. For each additional second it takes for a racer to finish, they lose 1,000 points. This means that all scores are actually times measured in seconds to three decimal places.
so if the leaderboard atm is 480,000-460,000 then that translates into 2:00-2:20 you have to finish the race and ive been finising in 2:30 ish...sooo close

i think i have an idea as to how to do it "schemes evil plan" but my gf wants me over tonight so it'll have to wait till tomorrow T_T F'ckin real life always gettin in the way

i am now thoroughly convinced the 2-3 people on the leaderboard are cheating somehow...i wasn't kd at all, i echoed super beetle three times, and took the shortest route whenever possible and STILL i got 446,000

i think we should get a bunch of people from gameamp and do a set of staccked races where nobody KDs anyone else ^^
