What non-top 40 music are you listening to?

Me personally I just found an awesome goth/rock band called Krypteria out of Germany.

hmm right now i find myself listning to alot of Jamie Cullum, best songs would be Photograph, Get your way, Twentysomething, All at Sea, The Wind Crys Mary and These are the Days

Saw epica live in sweden. They are awesome !

Sonata arctica, nightwish, epica and all other heavy metal, power metal, glam metal there is.

I'll tell you what, the US might have popularized metal, but Europe really refined it. There's tons of awesome bands out there.

I'm listening to All Systems Go by Krypteria right now. I'm hooked on them.

Here's a cool lil thing about the Zune Card in my Sig. Click on the brown tabs in the upper corner and find the Favs button, it'll pull a list of my favorite songs. If you mouse over one, you can click a little play button just to the right of it and it'll preview it. Check them out!

Actually if you're a SoaD fan at all, Serj has a solo album out called Elect the Dead. I'd definately suggest picking it up, its really good. Most people call it the album missing after Toxicity

While it's true that Europe brings forth a lot of good metal, especially from Scandinavia, I always felt that the true gems of European music inevitably come from urban England or Scotland. Like:

Pssh, that's just because you can't put em on the map =P

Been listening to quite a lot today, ranging from soft blues (John Mayall+The Bluesbreakers) to psychedelic and some metal from Dream Theater. Going to buy a record from Killswitch Engage tomorrow (I need to try it out at least...), any recommendations? ^^
