im asking this more for my defender's epic set, but i figure it would be better under this topic. when i use thunderstrike, does it deal the same amount of dmg throughout its AoE, or does the targeted enemy take more dmg than the others?

Wow, I had this on a brute ages ago, and the question does bring up a lil doubt in me, but I'm 90% sure that the damage is the same for every target in the attack, as that is generally the case with most AoE attacks. I can't think of any power that does less damage to other targets than the main target.

For blasters (and defenders, most likely), Thunderstrike only does full damage to the targeted foe. Surrounding foes take much less damage and get knocked back. My ice/electric blapper uses this attack all the time.
They may have changed the effects just for Brutes so that full damage was dealt to all foes in range.

Hooray for me, I actually have a definite answer! And it is: No, the target takes more damage than the others. The target takes Smashing and Energy damage but everyone around him only gets hit by the Energy portion. Kinda makes sense when you think about it since the big boom from Thunder Strike is made of energy. So yeah, target takes more than mob but mob still gets hurt pretty well. Oh, and the target is stunned and everyone in the AoE (even target) can be knocked down
