just wanted to ask about the unlock packs on the gw store.
what are core skills, and how do they differ from say getting the campaign skills that are available?

core skills are available in every campaign the campaign specific skills (nightfall only factions only etc) only come from their respective games.

As Charlotte said. "Core" skills are skills that can be obtained in Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall. Then you have skills that are Prophecies Only, Factions Only, and Nightfall only. :)

ah ok thank you:) hehe now i fully understand it hehe. are they worth doing btw? does that unlock elites for ur pve or do u still have to capture them?

if you were to use a pve character you would still have to capture it. in my opinion the unlock packs/pvp only packs aren't worth it unless its for a second account you know you will only pvp on. Getting the standard game is normally better especially if you're new.
