Tried this on my ele after the flame djinns nerf, couldnt seem to kite fast enough to mob up all the nestlings. Can anyone else confirm this, i may have just been playing kinda retarded.

I tried playing around with my curses Nec, it works to some extend, enfeebling blood, SS and Insidious finish most off, along with some more direct Damage spells. But to say its a good viable farming method, no, as a monk can be usefull.
Sorry i cant give anything else, i have an ele but that one's rotting away really, can't play with em other then spamming flares :)

Its not such a big deal for me, that nerf, because I never used that fire magic build...
Best way to farm raptors now, if it wasen't before the nerf already, is with this build:
Dash, Dark Escape, Magnetic Aura, Deadly Paradox, Shadow
Form, Deaths Charge, Sliver Armor, and Obsidian Flame or Air of Superiority.
I run this on my Assassin, but I think it works well on a ele too.

That build seems rather slow though. Good for killing the Boss. But the raptor farm was based around killing all 33 nestlings on HM. :)

ok im not sure if anyone seen it (obviously not :P) on kannas update post, I said if you just replace deadly paradox with MINDBENDER! the run works just like it did before, im at rank 8 asuran and get 14 second (+20%) of 30% extra movement speed and half casting time of spells (for the fast cast of shadowform).
simple :)

or if you lack asura level you can
Fire = 16 (+1+3)
water =8 (rune +1)
shadow =10
energy =rest
also be sure you have about 80 energy and over 400 health
Armor of mist
deadly paradox
shadow form
fire storm
glyph of sacrifice
meteor shower
bed of coals
frozen burst
walk dont run to the cave, activate armor of mist, and gather as usual
Frozen burst helps keeps them from scattering loot too far to grab before death

armor of mists! just replace that with fire attun and your away! or already as been said, use mind bender! gg lee anyways :D
