at the moment i do usually 2 types of targeting for my heroes/henchmen.
i either press C for the closest target, then T, for target priority then space to confirm. or, i find say the healer in the group, press T then space to confirm.
i notice though lately, sometimes i can switch the target priority to another enemy by targeting them, pressing T then space. however, sometimes they change targets, other times they dont. is this a bug? or am i messing up the target priority setup for my group?

Well to start with, if you press T, the only thing that happens is that you target the called target, which means it's not nessesary to press T here. Calling your targets usually makes the heroes/henchmen target those aswell.

Yeah you kinda mis understood the T button.
To call a target, select the enemie and than press ctrl + space. This makes you say "I'm attacking...!" and you get something on the left side of your name that looks like this: [T].
If other ppl now press T, they select your target and can attack it. This also makes the hench/heroes attack the target you just pinged.

Henchies will target the enemie you called but they will also attack the target that you're attacking without having to call.
Sometimes it will takes some seconds before they start attacking the same target as you if you dont call but they will eventually.

if you do crtl+shift+space it says I'm Targeting...which in turn doesn't make you run and hit the person, if just makes the heroes/hench target them. That can work pretty well if you don't want to charge in there guns blazing and just want to aggro a certain group or something.
quit gw for good. end of story.

I just use ctrl+shift and double click the one I'm wanting them to attack and it does the same.
I'm neither here nor there but everywhere. I am who I am and nothing more but yet I'm nothing less than what I strive to be.

Ya ok, but I usualy tap S right after so I don't rush in. Ctrl + space is just faster than adding shift.

so, what would be the sequence then? ctrl + space on target, then press T so my heroes/henchmen attack?
does pressing T have no affect on ur henchmen and heroes?

I just hold down the ctrl and double click on the one I want everyone to attack. It has always worked fine as they have always attacked for me. I've done all of GW with H&H this way as I don't like PUGs.
I'm neither here nor there but everywhere. I am who I am and nothing more but yet I'm nothing less than what I strive to be.

pressing T does not have an effect on henchies directly, if u press T u target the called target. when u start attacking the target, henchies will also attack it so pressing T has no effect on the time of use. only a few seconds after that.

you should only press T whenever you're with a group of people and they are calling targets (crtl+space) than you will automatically target whatever is called.
other than that...crtl(+shift)+space is only required when using hero/henchies
