Well I was once again bored and using photoshop and decided to do a create a few iamges. I was inspired after a few posts in my last thread on this so decided to give it a go myself. What really sparked me to do it was this old model out of Lego (yes I still make Lego models >.<) from a while ago that was just sitting on my mantel peice, I looked at it and thought that would be a nice image to create on Paintshop... so I started by sketching out the base design by hand using pencil, then scanned my sketch in an created several layers of each section of the car.
This is the sketch I started with done by hand, it's slightly more rough as when I resized the image it made it look as if it was done in charcoal
Then using a variety of different brushes and a lot of dodge/burn techniques I started to add more detail, took quite some time ^^ This is the finished product :) The design is entirely mine and I thought it was pretty cool :)
Just wanted to share it with you guys, hope you like it and all feedback is appreciated :D

Wow really cool. I still have to learn how to use brushes the right way since they tend to f*ck up the picture when I use them. Nice job man!
Oh and using lego as a design (purely as design not going "vroooom vrrrrooom" with it) is really handy. I might use it in the future =P

lmao yeah it is handy, and of course I never race my lego cars around my living room.....

Oh yeah also have you seen the new Indiana Jones Lego sets? They have some really cool vehicle designs there that could be modified, I might just buy one :P No I dont buy them on a regular basis xD I havn't bought a set since I was like 12 now, but I literaly have a loft full of lego to mess around with. From the age of about 4 - 10 Lego was all I bought, Christmas, Birthdays you name it I would be getting Lego lol. Now I use it purely for as you said making cool designs to base drawings on :)

Wow, that is really good. I was never good at designing something with LEGOs, I had to have a picture. Yes I have seen the new Indiana Jones LEGOs, very nice.

Lego FTW!
the room in my house that's alotted for a baby-room in a few years once tash and i do some traveling and have some fun is currently scattered with Lego, all over the floor!
it's great.
i'll need to post some pics sometime, i have some neat retractable landing gear made up for just basic lego.
also made a lego-glock that had a spring slider on it (a lot of pen-springs in the right place)
btw, very nice photoshopping, looks very cool.

It looks pretty good, maybe next time had some colours 2 it to enhance the whole effect =). gj none the less(or how ever ya spell it x.x)

Bear in mind I'm a self tought 16 year old ^^, and this is my first ever attempt to create an etnire image from scratch, I normaly just stick to editing + adding things in =)
This is something else I've done in colour, the original design on this one is not mine but other than that I did it from scratch using airbrush + Dodge / Burn tool, it was just a bit of fun when I was bored :)
