| The Case of the Underground Mission |

I've got a police band mission in Faultline that for the life of me I can't figure out to get to. It's in the southwest part of the zone. It's a section where stuff is still standing, but it's overrun with Freakshow and Arachnos. The problem is that I follow the map and the yellow arrow to the mission site. However, I get to a point where apparently I'm standing in the middle of the street, but the mission entrance is about 80 yards below me. I've gone down to the lake shore and looked for a tunnel that might take me to an underground cavern where my mission might be, but I haven't found any tunnels. However, as I'm surrounded by red-named and purple-named foes I haven't explored as much as I perhaps I could. Is there a tunnel or cavern or something there, or do I have a bug in my mission?

I had the same problem you had when my first toon went to Faultline. There is a cavern underneath the city that has two entrances that I know of, both filled with Arachnos soldiers. One is through the Arachnos base on the map, just to the west after you exit from the Longbow base to the south. The other entrance is in a clearing to the northwest of the Longbow base if you exit from the north. It's on the same level as the longbow base and I want to say I remember it being a little south of Doc Delihla.

IF you look up the Agent G contact info here on Gameamp it will tell you about the Arachnos base entrance. The other one I think I either found out by accident, getting lost in the tunnels or sending out a broadcast in game and somebody telling me about it. Good luck.

The entrance on the resevoir side of the dam was easy to find, but it was surrounded by high level Arachnos. I did finally manage to find the tunnel entrance on the north side.
1. Go to the top of Freight Lift H.
2. When you get out of the lift, you'll be able to see a dead tree off to your right (north-northwest from the lift).
3. There's an area south and east of the tree where it's obvious there's been a lot of digging. Look for a hole, and you should see the tunnel entrance there.

Yes, of course. The tunnels are filled with Arachnos guards levels 21-23. My level 22 tanker was able to fight her way through without ever truly being in danger, but squishier types and heroes level 21 and under should take a few friends along.
I do recommend the Faultline story. Good story, a lot of fun to play. My only gripe would be that it's sometimes very confusing as to where you're supposed to go--the ruins in the tunnels and the Nocturne trap mission I might have never found if it weren't for this site.

Glad to be of help. I remembered having trouble the first time I played that mission, so I knew how you felt. Of course, now any other toons you play will know where to go and you can help other first timers as well.

Easy way out, if you have it, use your Pocket D teleporter or (if you have 24 or more months) your Base teleporter. It's better than trying to beat down boat loads of Arachnos. Those guys are mean.
