First of all this is my first post so hi all.
So now my question i am ranger/elementalist and I want YOUR opinion about the best armor.
So no post like that is your choice...
I ask some help because I can't really decide which one i will choose. I dont need very expensive armor.(so no FoW)
I thought something like druid armor for the energy.
So i ask some advice and your opinion of best armor for me/yourself.

If you are using Elementalist spells you would need energy , so yes , armor with + energy would be best =)

well you should get a armor with the highest armor level available for rangers. and i like the 15k druids armor best
but if you dont have the money for 15k armors i would get 1,5k druids , also do you have only prophecies or do you have the other campaigns too?

Welcome to Gameamp!
First of all, is your ranger male or female? My ranger has Primeval armor dyed silver for a while now and I still like it. I'm planning on combining 15k Druids chest & legs with FoW arms & legs, but I still need to find a way of getting money =P
So I would say Primeval or 15k Duids ;)

Oh i forget a lot i see;)
But it is my first post so i hope you guys forgive me.
Information:
1. I'm male.(in-character and real)
2. I have factions and I think I am going to buy Nightfall
3. My character is lv 20.
4. 15k armor is a bit to much asked(my first lv 20 guy)
5. When you want some more info ask me.

blazings he said something NOT expensive and you give him a combo of 2 fow pieces with the mozing mask or w/e the ninja mask is called? lol.
druids coz of energy? you can use insignias on any armor so u don't have to choose the druids for it, if you're ele secondary i hope it's gonna be for conjure spells...rangers that run around with fire storm and flare always remind how full of hardcore noobs this game is :p
depending on if you're male or female this is what i suggest:
female -> ancient
male -> drakescale
No ur not, ur a ranger.

Hmm thanks for advice.
It is so hard to make a good dissicion.
You can call me a "noob" because I don't know how to upgrade your armor( I think you mean with some runes)
And just 3 days ago I runned with flare and firestorm:P
I personaly like druid's more then drakescale because I think druid is more usefull and the looks are ok for me.
But i asked your guys advice so thanks for replying.

Ah well so you only have Factions atm and 15k armor is too expensive? Than I'd suggest normal Kurzick armor. I'm not so fund of Factions armor for ranger to be honest, but that's the best one out there imo.

And you suggest he should buy primeval while he posted 15k armor is too expensive O.o

First of all:
Welcome to gameamp
Seconds:
I prefer druids armor (or similar) coz of energy bonus.. Even if (and when) you use expertise, some builds "might" have some difficulties when it comes to issues with less energy..

You can upgrade armor with Insignas now. Druids having more nrg is old now. (just as tattoos with monks/necro's). And I always say health > energy. Especialy as a ranger. I currently have full survivor insignas making me have 27 nrg and 600hp. If you use prepared shot there's no energy problem.. ever actualy.

Hmmm hard hard hard.
I choose druid because I don't understand the upgrading systeem yet and I need my energy.(and it looks okey)
Then I have a new question(yeah I know annoying)
But what is for ranger/elementalist the best i thought they call it build(i mean the 8 spells) so I ask your opinion.
mayby you guys can give me some links to other post with information in it or some usefull tips about which spells are the best.(Please don't give me difficult ones remember i am new ^^)

The guilds at wiki aren't very good in my opinion most of the time they just recommand every spell in the game and say what they do;)
But still gratz for help I think i am going to play for a while now:P

Druids armor = bad habit lol.. Same as Templar armor is Knights armor etc.. xD
So in other words: Purchase 5 Radiant Insignias from Rune traders and you have full Druids armor..

Yes indeed. The "whole upgrade system" is verysimple.
A headpice always contains +1 in a certain attribute.
All armor parts can be upgraded with one rune and one insigna.
That's about all you need to know.
And no wiki doesn't give all the spells in the game =P There are waaay more skills.

I ran around with Druids 1.5k for 90% of my Characters life =]
Best looking Rangerarmor in the game if you ask me.
Only since a month or 3-4 did I get myself Norn Ranger armor.

Ok i bought druid armor chest and legs and i ran out of wood xD so if you guys know something to gain it fast reallly thx for that to.
And yeah save private ryan is cool;) i need other GW avatar.

i think u get lots of wood from troll farmin and salvagin the stuff u get from there, used to farm that place all day 24/7 with my wammo 3 years ago :p

/agreed. salvage any junk wands, staffs or bows that are dropped for you. Soon enough, you'll have a nice stack of wood.

Radiant insignias are good for rangers. I typically run with about 560 health on a ranger, just because it's kinda useless to have survivors. Oh and I carry a shield swap with +30 for emergencies.
