hehe, sorry, i saw some lego on here, a very nice job in photoshop btw, so it made me dump out my bins of lego and make a monster truck and an airplane... (i also made a lego house with WoED hehe, but that's boring!) Monster Truck!!! Yea!
my uncle's a structural engineer, he still plays with Lego, Mechano and Mag-X and he's in his 50's... hehe
no matter how old you are Lego will always kick ass.
my tribute to Lego thread! lol.

thanks, been playing lego since as far back as i can remember... uhm... last tuesday! :P
more like since i was old enough not to swallow the pieces, so, like... 21ish ...
i've just been into basic, technic is hella expensive, though i've boguth technic sets to get neat parts to use in basic. hybrid lego!

I use to play with legos back in the day. Had thousands upon thousands of them. Gave them to some kid who did not have any toys. OH well but, I remember building some really nice space ships. I would always build what was on the box then tear it apart and go wild.

vaccum cleaners claimed a lot of lego back in the day for me, lol!
as for rogue, it's not nerdy for anyone, let alone engineering students, lego should be in your curiculim! hehe.
making test structures.
i'm more like jesse james from monster garage, i can build really cool things out of wood and metal that are strong, cool looking and such from trial and error, and making it first out of lego or mechano, hehe.
though i couldn't tell you the physical tolerances and such like an engineer, but i can say that it's sledge proof or able to withstand likely twice the forces of a standard structure you see being built, like house frames, hehe... though engineers need to be able to create things with tolerances that are really good at a budget, whereas i just over build things because i don't care. hehe, like my stool or camp table that's up north at a lodge i used to work at, nothing will ever break those things, the table was even attacked by a bear (the table had fish guts on it that someone didn't clean up, then a bear went rage on it, it was a little scratched up and gouged, but still very usable, considering the stainless steel tables were all dented and bent)!
:P or my specially engineered, layers of laminated wood, then fiberglassed, ass paddle, then sprayed with bed-liner for a nice coarse-coating of ass-hitting agony :P guaranteed to make someone's bare-ass red in one hit or your money back. lol. (the key is to lift up as you swing at about a 45* angle to assure a lot of friction on the ass!) and yes, that started out as a lego project with flat pieces. :P LOL!
i love lego and building stuff. so much fun, glad to see i'm not the only one.

build a 'to-scale' with lego men as a template of 6ft. Boing B-17 FLying Fortress and i shall build a to scale Panzer V Panther tank. ;)
