ooh man .. What did i do wrong now ! :S

yet again i got suspended... guild mate reported
my name... gwens horny sister.
i'm going to kick him out of the guild in 333 hours

333hours more to wait.. i am sooo bored..

LOL, i saw you walk past me then at some point last week.

Didn't report you though, but you did remind me of the countless people i've seen that where guaranteed to walk into a name change + temp ban sometime soon.

Good Luck with waiting i suppose, considering your one of the officers/leader of the guild, you can spend 333 hours into thinking up fun guild events.

I don't get it.
14 days ban for the name "Gwen's Horny Sister"?
Sure, it's against the rules and you're now seeing the consequences of that. But two whole weeks seems excessive, unless this is lile your third or forth offense?
And it's not a racial slur. If it's the name, it ought to fall under the profanity header, which is like 3 days or something.

The Racial slur thing isn't invoked unless you, well, used racial slurs. Gave a public rant about immigrants, Jews, "niggers" or homosexuals or something along those lines.

Ive reported a guildie once, he was making racial remarks in Guild Chat. You sure you werent joking around in guild chat? Ive seen even worse names floating around. Like that guild that won HoH yesterday, Puff Puff Pass That S [Hit]. Why isnt that guild banned?

They haven't deleted your character, they only deleted the name it carries, basicly your characters name =

Exactly, nothing, when you can access your account again you will recieve the option to change your characters name, Choose Wisely this time.

Remember that GW is Teen-rated.

TEEN
Titles rated T (Teen) have content that may be suitable for ages 13 and older. Titles in this category may contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling, and/or infrequent use of strong language.

I guess they need to enforce their rules so that they can keep that rating => more legal customers. IF everyone had some kinky name, GW would probably get a Mature rating.

MATURE
Titles rated M (Mature) have content that may be suitable for persons ages 17 and older. Titles in this category may contain intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content and/or strong language.

Just because you don't find some suggestive name hars or offensive, you have to remember that not everyone's not like you, not everyone loves to get genitals rubbed in their face everytime some player passes them. And most parents don't want their 13 year old kids to see such vulgar language. And A-Net has to take that into consideration aswell.

Their is a small loophole their:
Teen: Infrequent, Mature and/or strong language.

As it points out not everyone is running around with those kind of names, so therefor it would still be rated teen (except if suddenly 60-75% of GW started to rename all of their characters with 'strong language' or only play characters with 'strong language in).

In my opinion, not really. People who make up those ratings like to think that kids of that age don't know anything. And if they do, they don't want kids to be furthermore influenced by such "below the waist" humour. But no matter what they think, kids know stuff, and virtual character names don't really make it that much worse.

And yeah, I'm a perv who likes dirty humor. :P

But then again, I don't have to think about sales and kids who actually haven't got a twisted sense of humor. :)
