Well I once more should really be doing coursework - But instead I've picked up my pencils and have done some drawing. I've never been any good at drawing eyes but I gave it a go and wanted to know what you guys thought =] I'm making a few more improvements as I type, I just finished this version about 5 mins ago. It's all just freehand pencil sketch from a few pictures I took, spent about 30 mins or so drawing this, looks better in real life, a lot smoother:
Edit: Resized Slighty - When blown up quality is lost ^^
Feedback / ratings are always appreciated!

i like it, but i hope when you are drawing a full body, you won't put 30 minutes of work into 1 eye alone. b/c that's an hour for only the eyes o.O

Perhaps to create your own style first?
Eyes can make a great difference in a drawing, so it's natural that it's not the most easy thing ... They look great at both pictures. =]

that eye is awesome. mine are kidof the same except smoother lines, but i really like the series of curved lides around the eyelids. my only bit of cnstructive criticism is the eyelashes. it kinda looks like one big eyelash that curves in a U shape. personally i would erase 1 or 2 lashes to set them apart a little.
nice pic though

Thank you glad you like =) the sharp lines are cuased by my scanner, It's being really annoying lol, in real life the lines are much smoother. Yeah i've actualy been working on the eyelashes more, this was almost the first draft for them when I scanned it in further down on one of my posts is a finished drawing I did a while ago. I've been doing less and less drawing recently due to college, but when I do I really enjoy it

I love the eye!
Eyes make a picture look good or bad...they give the person a character.

well it all depends on who is looking at the picture. I myself don't care for the Mona Lisa at all. I think his picture of Ginevra deBenci was so much better. So in saying that myself wouldn't give the Mona Lisa a very good rating even though its value upon the fact of its age and the other work done by the same artist.
I'm neither here nor there but everywhere. I am who I am and nothing more but yet I'm nothing less than what I strive to be.
