Well....I dunno if this is the right place to put this.....but my fiend has a copy of NF and Factions, and just recently got EoTN for the GW campaign.
Well...it was all good, until I messaged him to ask where he was and he replied Stingray Cove! Thats in Proph if im not mistaken.
Not only that, but he had skills from the prophocies campaign(im not sure if he used them, but he had them in his skill bar).
Does this mean you can own proph without actually Owning it??
Can some1 shed some light on this?
thanks.

Stingray Cove is in EoTN I think. You must have been thinking of Stingray Strand.
He might have had CORE skills, which are available on all campaigns.
Approving guides since November 2007.

He can get EoTN with Factions or Nightfall. It only requires you have one of the stand alone campaigns not any certain one.
My niece has Factions and Nightfall and EoTN but she can't go into a Prophecies area so I'd say he is more likely not telling the truth about not having the campaign.
I'm neither here nor there but everywhere. I am who I am and nothing more but yet I'm nothing less than what I strive to be.

You can get to EoTN from any of the 3 major campaigns.
What has likely happened is he is in Prophs on a trial key that automatically came with his copy - note the game doesn't tell you about this, it's just in the packaging. He would have had to do a crossover mission to get to Prophs though.
Similar thing happened to me -
I had only Prophs and Factions, and bought EoTN. I entered my EoTN key and was happily cruising along, came back to LA after a couple of days and a message appeared telling me I could do Sunspears in Kryta mission to cross over to to Nightfall. I was able to get to Kamadan, buy NF skills, pick up Heroes, etc...
A few days later the key ran out. You get about a 1 hr warning I recall.
Cheers,
T.

| QUOTE | Do I need to own a copy of one of the previous Guild Wars campaigns in order to play Guild Wars: Eye of the North?
Yes, because Eye of the North is an expansion rather than a new campaign—and because it is intended for your high-level characters—you need to own at least one of the Guild Wars campaigns—Guild Wars (the original campaign), Guild Wars Factions, or Guild Wars Nightfall—in order to play Guild Wars: Eye of the North. However, you do not need to complete any of the previous campaigns to play GW:EN. |
Cross is right. You only need to have one campaign to be able to play GW:EN. And there is no Stingray Cove, only Stingray Strand which is in Proph..
>Clicky<..This is where I got my info from.
