Okay, today i was looking at my processes in my task manager. I saw the CPU performance was 100%. Only one thing can be doing it and I was right! The problem was SVCHOST.EXE. I downloaded Ad-Aware 2007 free edition and it fixed the problem. I highly suggest that everyone should check this sad excuse for a program out. If you need any help email me at Nick_gaydos@yahoo .com. All the computers at my school have this program. But the computer """"""expert"""""""" dosen't know this is a major trojan.

Not entirely true, but safe to run your Anti-Virus and Anti-SpyWare products anyway. See this site:

SVCHOST.EXE is actually a Microsoft Windows System file used for a lot of stuff. However in the past security holes were exploited in it. They should, provided you've got the Windows security patches installed from the updater, be pretty well protected at this point.

Yeah Ron is on, sometimes I check out my System Manager to see if anything is bogging me down. I found this site, and I actually use a download off this site called the SpeedUpMyPC3.
But here is another link, much akin to Ron's.

Like others have said, SVCHOST.EXE is an essential program and part of the Windows operating system. Deleting it will kill your machine. However, viruses and other malware have exploited bugs in the program and run instances of it in order to do their dirty work. Just keep your OS, antivirus and firewall up to date, and run a full scan every so often.
I'm too lazy to keep up with my own altoholism. Abana is my "main" right now as I'm going for my first level 50, but as for my creations here's a short list:
Abana (hero, Champion), lvl 50 mag tanker, stone/stone/fit
Etain Echraide (hero, Virtue), lvl 21 mag controller, plant/therm
One Man Vs. The Mob (hero, Virtue), lvl 11 sci blaster, nrg/nrg/fly/stealth
Ballplayer Reverend (hero, Champion), lvl 19 nat tanker, will/mace/speed
Dr. Arjun Girish (hero, Virtue), lvl 6 nat controller, mind/kin
Aulay Marwaring (hero, Champion), lvl 5 mut blaster, ar/mm
Ashmorah (hero, Champion), lvl 4 warshade

No problem :)
I will not be that active in the gameamp community anymore since I really don't play that much games. The only games I play are Regnum Online and Assault Cube. Both Free. Now I am focused in doing linux and server management, so, it has been good. Call me if ya need me 732-668-1280. Thanks!

So, Do I leave that on? It uses a good chunk of my ram also.
EDIT: Ok I ran the thing that ron/griff posted... it found 311 errors. Fixed 15, and said Hey pay 30$ and we'll fix the rest!!!! =[

I dont use that program but I did the same thing. Ran that and it found these errors, then it hits me with that message.
I got a program that is of that site from Newegg that can boost your PC's ability. Optimizes and such. I linked that (as Ron did) because you can search all the EXEs running in your task manager.
