I have decided to leave gameamp. I will no longer be part of a community where it is acceptable to personally attack people. Yes I may have been hard on certain people but it was always on a professional basis.
That is all, have a nice life everyone and those of you that are my friends know how to contact me.

I wish to thank Dru for ALL her efforts - not just on the WoWside, but NETWORK - wide. It wasn't an easy thing to do and I honor you for that.
I wish you the very best in whatever you will be doing next, wherever that may be. You will be missed. I shall miss you. You've been a tremendous asset to this community.

Dru you will be very muched missed and I was very sorry to hear of your departure. I hope to continue to have contact with you and see you here from time to time. Your level of accomplishment and contribution is undeniable. We have lost folks around GameAmp before and have been very lucky to have them come back again. The return of Phedre_d is good example of having an old favortie return. You have lots of friends here wishing you the very best!

Yep it is kind of a bad day in that sense and I remember how sad I was when thejeni left and Phedre_d and some other great ampers but then I was able to pull back and recall that the dust always settles and if not for GameAmp being here in the first place I would not have made some of the great friends we all share here at this very special community. It is a day in a year and for the most part everything works out. As a user or admin whatever you accomplish or do here lives on as long as the devs keep working hard and keep the servers up and the site a great place for everyone to come share. Your guides, message thread participation, and profiles all say a little something about you and I for one note and salute everyone that has made this place a better place to be.

This should go down as a sad day in Gameamp history...you have done so much for this place that it just won't be the same without you. it really won't. Goodbye Dru...you will be missed by all...Gameamp isn't Gameamp without you...

Yes this is a real message.

I love you all, thanks for the support and I hope you all the best in your future endevours. You all have done a great job and I am glad I could bring the best out of you.
As for what happened, this has been a long time coming. I cannot comment on it because I have always been the bigger person and I am sure you will hear rumors out of other staffers of what did happen. Those of you that know the truth know that I was blatnetly disrespected and I will not stand for that.
Thank you all and I will hold a special place in my heart for all of you individually. You can all visit me in game anytime, and I encourage you to leave me a message on Myspace or Facebook because I do check them.
Thanks for growing a thicker skin with me wow community! Cheers to all of you for being mature, strong and well rounded individuals.

Your what got me started staffing Dru, I can never thank you more for that. We will all miss you, and we appreciate what you have done for us. In fact I am not sure how long I will be able to hold on without you here. Ahh well, we will see what the devs decide. Not like we will be able to deter them anyway.
Turns out I have lost my respect for a few people in the process of this also. Really kinda sucks. =[

Just an example of the abuse I suffered at the hands of the GW people in which they started the minute I took over as network manager. Yes I reacted, sometimes poorly but they started the entire thing and took it to an extent I never would.
If that topic is deleted I have the whole thing screen shoted and up on photobucket for those that would like to see it, you know how to contact me. Also the Myspace group is up and running until the webpage is up.

It's better to just let it be, you and the people involved and only you and them know the truth of what really happened. I think that getting people involved that have nothing to do with anything is not going to make it better, I see no purpose for that thread and the words used.
Whatever happened is no one's concern, you know how we (GameAmp WoW) feel about you and how much you will be missed and respected, you did a lot for us and we cherished those days.
The GameAMP network has not been the same for quite a while now and I don't mean in the past month or so I mean couple of years ago, great people have left but great people have come, like you. Please don't let some people keep you away from some of the people you care about or the community. I wish you the best Dru and please keep on visiting us :)

as far as i'm concerened i often enjoyed reading some of dru's posts, and its a shame she's gone. its just sad that something that is supposed to be a 'hobby' can create so much e-drama.
and i also really hope this doesnt create some kind of massive rift between the GW and WOW side of things, as i know some members browse over both.

And, as Stanz said, let's not stereotype/generalize the GW community. It will not do us or anyone else on the Gameamp network to create rifts between the different game sections. We each have our flaws and such, but that's because we're humans.
Let's all just remember Dru for what she contributed to the entire network. I'll surely miss her wit and wisdom on this side.

Wow, this really sucks. Dru was one of the best Mods I have seen on a forum. I think I will have to Myspace her just cause she was coool.
BTW, I am from the Guild Wars side of AMP, and I would have to agree with whoever had the "They eat their young..." comment. When I was new, GW had been out for about 6 months, so the game was relatively fresh. However, If/When I would post, it would either be ignored , while a topic by a mod would be getting hundreds of posts; or I get a response like, "ummm, why not check the other posts?", even though I had. It then would become a dead topic, and I would have to spam ingame for a useful answer. Basically, the guild wars side can be incredible, and other times (like now) it really makes me question it.
Well, See all you WoW'ers later. This is , like others have said, a sad day.
