Hey guys. Well i am curently takeing a brake from the competitive Counter Stirke i have playd for some time now and swiching games to UT2004 but i am just wonding if anyone can hook me up with the top 3 teams sites
so i can get to know how this community works and who the best players are. And maybe like a few links to the top UT movies there are ty. O clans of TDM and 1v1 plz no CTF.

well in what kind of play mode are you looking for the best players but like theirs like over like 6milion people playing so its gona be pretty hard to find out what the best teams and players are.

ok i see
well my team is recognize by other players and like other litle teams but where looking to join tournaments soon. but like i dont kno many teams since i only play on like my 2 favorites servers so... ya

there are no big favorite clan websites, it's all on IRC.
Competitive UT (ie tournaments real events) is only TDM/1v1. The channel you want is #2k4tdm and it's on enterthegame, there are people from all the top clans there, and the community leaders are there, it's a good place to start.
But anyways...
Good teams are x6, gravity, con, sbp, h2o (for american teams). All of which are in the americup.
No team really has big sponsors in NA, and also since rosters shift around so frequently it can get a bit confusing. But stop by the IRC chan and it will make more sense.

Yeah, cause UI-CTF is not a real event.
For top TDM teams, check the GGL Americup. Check Six, Continuance, Gravity.
For top CTF teams, the top 5 listed on the TWL ladder is a good indication, and the UI CTF tourney is hosted at www.unrealness.com. Notorious, ugodz, Solidarity.
The TDM community is probably the largest and definitely the most active right now.

That wasn't a knock maddeh...
He came from CS and was asking about tournaments and sponsors. For UT that big league stuff is all TDM/1v1, that's what I meant.
He also stated he didn't want ctf :P
