I am starting a SS/EA brute and was hopeing the wise vetrans of the game could help me come up with a good pve build. and if u could tell me what types of enhancement to use i dont mean specific just the kinds of ones.

An SS build is pretty straightforward. Get all powers except handclap and hurl, slot them with 2 or 3 damage, 2 accuracy, and maybe a recharge reduction or edurance reduction. I don't much about EA. But probably pick a few of the shields, add some damage resists in it, or whatever is fitting, and voila!
Pretty hard to wrong with making a decent brute build. Playing a decent brute is something different all together, but I won't go into that.

Note: EA is not Electric Armour, it's Energy Aura. Energy Aura has defence, and not damage resistance. So Phedre, slotting for damage resistance in the shields is hard.
Also, it's very easy to totally gimp a Brute build. We aren't the mindless smashers you think us to be.

Damage resist or damage defence is the same difference. My point was that you pick the secondary powers that make some sense and slot them accordingly. Of course you can mess it up, but not till much later.
I don't think brutes are mindless smashers at all. They are my favourite AT. My only level 50 villain is a brute, and the way it seems to be going my second level 50 villain will probably be a brute as well. There is a lot more to playing a good brute than smashing buttons. That's why I finished my post with the remark that "Playing a decent brute is something different all together." Except for maybe specializing it for post 50 endgame you can't mess up a build too bad.
Edit/PS: I just saw this thread on the hero side. I guess you can mess it up big time :) But a skilled player like masterlich069 won't fall for that. That's why I also left out suggestions about pool powers like stanima or hasten.

aww your making me blush i guess u could say im skilled maybe at suviving by the skin of my teeth at least thats how it was with xhan my mercs mm on triumph(who i need to respec) but im getting better a picking Powr pools and figureing out how to play the ATs.

Sounds like my Dominator. He is an agro magnet, but couldn't hit sand if he fell off a camel. There are some fights I just barely get away from.
