Curtain Call

The final act has ended. The curtain has come down. A saddned clown exits the stage quitely.

Due to financial reasons, Knick Knack nor any of his cohorts will be seen in Paragon City for a while. This is not a pleasant thing that must be done, but reasons that a few know dictate that I must hang up my cape(s) for an indetermined amount of time. I will miss you all, and I am happy to see that so many of the older Ampers have returned. Alas, I cannot share in this glad event.

I will return once more when I am able, and I leave this only to share the reason that I have vanished from the stage. Until then, keep up the fight, and never let villiany prosper.

Big Chill is a conscranker: he conrols a mob so they do nothing, scraps a target till they can't stand, and tanks what's left till the job's done.

My hearty appreciation to all the wellwishers here. You folks are one of the biggest reasons that I have enjoyed this site and the community in the game so much. I'm happy to hear that my stuff will be safe and well.

On a side note since he brought it up. Here's something to hold you over for a bit, DM.

For the love of all that's decent and holy, get the AC in that suit fixed and get a bath. You reek worse than a sewer full of Vahz.

Just to let everyone know, due to a late Christmas, my departure turned out to be only for a day. My thanks to everyone for keeping things safe while I was away.

The quest for my first 50 is almost done now. I hit 49 last night with the help of some friends. I'm back until at least the end of this month to help fight the good fight.

Bummer! That means I won't be there.

But we should still do a party this weekend. A big GameAmp party in Atlas Park on Saturday afternoon sounds like great idea regardless. It has been too long since we have actually all met up. How does 2 pm CST sound? I'll provide the tea and donuts.

I hope that Big is right, and that I will indeed hit 50 tonight. I've been pushing mainly because I have a great concept in mind for a warshade toon....lol. Me and my altitis at work.

I only have the one full level to go, so anyone who wants to join a team to help me get it is certainly invited. The more the merrier and all that. I'll be only too happy to give an sk to anyone who needs it so that they can be a part of it all, and I'm sure that DM and Big will as well. I mention them since I have a feeling they will be there. Hopefully, Nas will as well.

Again, anyone who wants to team for it is welcome even though we can only have 8 in the team. A party this weekend would be great too, not just for me though. The party should be to celebrate all the ampers that have managed to accomplish this task, especially all the altoholics among us.

It was a going curtain call, but not anymore.

Can't get a team on Triumph? There are ampers on Tri virtually all the time. Maybe, you just aren't asking in the right channel...lol.

Shadowhands and I go way back to when I 1st started this game, and I think I can safely say that Shadow has you beat in the altitis dept Knick lol. If you're up for the teaming Triumph-side, give a shout on the GA channel there's almost always an Amper or 20 on at any given time.

This reminds me of Michael Jordan's retirement. He retires...then he doesn't...then he does again. Next Knick will take a little break to become a baseball star, followed by another return to CoH. ;) BTW, welcome back!
